it's a very quiet area with good views of Mt. Kenya. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Minor issue but some of the kitchen furniture items need repair. (Kitchen dining table was wobbly because the table top only rested on the table legs and was not affixed to the table legs. one dining chair back rest was broken)

I was asked to pay a higher rate than what was confirmed on booking. com. I contacted the property owner after completing my booking to ask for an early check-in. George asked me how many guests (which was already noted on the booking) as well as the composition. I explained it was three adults with two being elderly. He then proceeded to tell me that the posted rate on booking.com was incorrect and that I should pay a higher rate by 31%. When I told him that was not acceptable to me because I had completed the reservation on booking.com and received a confirmation on the posted rate, he asked me to cancel the booking and hang up. I called him back and explained that the rate on booking.com was non-refundable, and so if I cancelled, he would still receive the amount confirmed. I explained to him what he was doing was irregular and inappropriate and that I would report him to booking.com customer service. I then proceeded to contact booking.com customer service. He then sent me a text saying that he would honor the posted rate that was confirmed on booking.com This whole experience left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I felt George was trying to take advantage since it was a last minute booking, that was non-refundale.

Clean, comfortable, modern and a quiet hideout. George and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The communication was excellent as well.

Place is spacious and all rooms are en suite.

There are other houses in the compound still under construction, therefore, there's a lot of noise. The quality of finishing in the building wasn't great. The buildings are being built quite close together and the view to the mountain is getting blocked by the new building on the same property.

very comfortable in a serene location. Mount Kenya view in the morning is incredible. it’s family friendly with spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen. guards are friendly and always available to help. Will definitely book again😊

not something I didn’t like but we arrived at night and thought we were in the middle of nowhere. there’s however a police station nearby so our security was assured.

Absolutely amazing with the best views of Mt.Kenya in the morning and very beautiful sunsets too!very clean and serene ! would definitely come back again!
