A very nice host, an atmospheric quiet place with wonderful cretan tavernas in walking distance

The apartment is a lovely traditional place to stay! It's so near to all the amenities but just far enough away to feel secluded! The gardens are lovely and quiet. There are only a few eating places nearby, but they are so good, that you didn't mind alternating!

You definitely need a car as there isn't enough in the village to keep you occupied during your stay! The apartment is very basic & would benefit with more utensils, such as a bread knife. The beds are not the most comfortable!

It's a lovely place surrounded by nature and silence. It's a traditional stone house with lots of history which makes it even more special. Good tavernas in the area just 1 min walking. Very close to the beach too.

Cozy decoration, stylish, and excellent service. The room was confortable with a very powerful air conditioner, perfect for when you return from the beach! We also loved the outdoor area with a nice view.

Everything was very good and the service always above and beyond expectations.

The accomodation, just 10 minutes west of Kissamos, is perfect for a well-located quiet stay for easy driving access to Crete's west coast beaches. There are some fantastic restaurants only a 2 minute walk away in the town of Kaliviani, yet the accomodation is on a very quiet street. The rooms are extremely clean to a high level, while the hosts are genuinely warm, friendly, inviting, helpful and generous, and truly make guests feel very welcome. They definitely played a part in my wonderful stay in Crete.

Really nice stay in Kaliviani, a small village perfect to reach Balos beach (a few minutes by car before The beginning of the unpaved Road). Ioannis is a great host, very kind, and the room is comfortable. Good restaurants are extremely close to the house.
