Breakfast was superb. Could not have asked for better.

Easy to find and well located. We loved the house and the very friendly welcome. Loretta was very helpful and puts on an excellent breakfast. Having a bedroom, lounge and bathroom made this so much nicer than any hotel at an equivalent price range. The house is well furnished, super-clean and we loved the interaction with Lucy (the dog).

Very little to complain about. I suppose ideally an ensuite rather than a bathroom down the hall would have made this absolutely perfect. But still very happy overall.

Lovely place!! Lauretta is a great host and makes a delicious breakfast! Sorry we could only stay for 1 night.

Quiet and upmarket location. Breakfast was very very good and host made us cappuccinos when we arrived and also with breakfast.

No ensuite, but we had our own bathroom down the hall. Not so convenient, but probably a better appointed and larger bathroom because of it.

Very friendly and accomodating host. Gorgeous house. Very clean and comfortable. Cooks a great range of food and it is delicious.

The location is close to the down which is very handy. And the whole house is decorated so nice and cozy to make you feel back to home. The owner is very friendly and we had a nice talk. The breakfast was cooked and presented like eating in a luxury café. High recommend this place and we will definitely come back next time.

The breakfast here was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and there was on site parking available. We were welcomed by our host and made to feel at home. The location was perfect for us as we were playing in a tennis tournament which is a 3 minute walk from this location. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

Owner is such a lovely,accommodating,hospitable, thoughtful & welcoming person. Once, I walked in - definitely a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a break eg midweek,winter break, timeout from big city etc(short drive from Palmerston North/Wellington) - at the Bungalow, you will get it from cosy living room, dining room, big kitchen area, peaceful and serene bedroom & on top of that, you have your own shower and big bathtub(ensuite). Great central heating in the whole house. I love the deco in the whole house! Fully renovated = love the mirrors and big clock in dining room! On top of that, I have my crepes, unlimited coffee/tea. There is a huge selection of breakfast =I didn't expect to have a selection Homemade muesli, omelette,fresh fruit & yoghurt, etc.(it can vary) Bonus - doggie Lucy is so cute and adorable! Better than a hotel/motel stay! Great Central location, in a very nice neighbourhood (top end of Whanganui)
