Very nice cottage full of character and in a good location,to motorways,Blackburn and surrounding villages.Great pub across the road,and very welcoming locals in the village.

We made our own, but kitchen was more than adequate

I’ve received a call today from the host a whole 8 days after staying, they claimed I broke the bed and wasn’t broke before we stayed. I never noticed the bed was broke till the Wednesday when I looked under the bed to plug my plugs in. And the metal frame I the middle was bent. I made nothing of is cos it was still a comfy sleep. I then left a message the Thursday night regarding the stay and the bed. They won’t listen to anything else other than themselves blaming me for it and wanting to pay for a new. Which I will absolutely not be doing and threatened me with court. Ive been an avid user of booking for 3 years and never had an issue or anything of the sort. Also the people in the street didn’t like us due to work vans, which is understandable but seems to be a connecting thing.

Very homely. Very welcoming of dogs - blankets, towels, toys, spare leads, food and water bowls. Fantastic community pub just opposite.

Bit too much furniture in the main bedroom.

Excellent place to stay with so many extras included making it a really good comfy easy holiday.
