The Bumblebee is advertised as a "stylish, cozy house near downtown" and is described as a "One-Bedroom House". It is NOT a "one-bedroom house" - this is a complete misrepresentation. This is actually a small home that has been turned into three separate units - one upstairs, one on the ground floor and one in the basement. We got the basement. THE BASEMENT UNIT, IF THERE IS A FIRE, IS A DEATH TRAP. If there is a fire in the basement, anyone there will die. No-one will get out. I was a volunteer fire fighter in the CFA in Victoria, Australia, for 10 years - the basement unit is a death trap. Other issues: - rotting floor boards - low headroom, with obstructions hanging below the ceiling in a number of places (I hit my head twice while we were there - I am 5'11" 180cm) - I spent my time here hunched over when I walked around - the single bedroom is so cramped you must leave all your gear in the living area. - the double bed is up against the wall - so someone has to climb over the bed / other occupant to get to their position - the washing machine is dodgy and could only be started with difficulty - the dryer pumps considerable heat into the unit - in summer, this would be very hot - there is NO air conditioning and NO windows And the pièce de résistance: there was NO hot water. We had cold showers. There was not hot water in the kitchen to wash dishes. Overall, this would have to be the worst rental place I have ever see. I do not know what the rooms upstairs are like because I have not seen them. But I can say with absolute certainty that this basement is appalling. If you want to send your worst enemy somewhere - this place would be high on your list of considerations.

Location and price was great for visiting Cleveland for a couple concerts downtown.

Bathroom felt a little dirty; the shower was just used and hair was left behind. Upstairs tenant vacuumed at 8am on a Sunday. An alarm was going off at 9am in a locked area of the property, but the host was quick to fix this.

Quiet neighborhood close to downtown. Uber rides quick and easy. House was clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee was a nice touch! Owner was quick to respond to questions.

As advertised by booking.com the description and photos were and are very misleading. Never indicated unit was basement level with steep stairs (difficult for 70 year olds!). Pictures show a front door, impossible in a basement. Rooms were damp and musty with odd odor. Clean only on visible surfaces, otherwise not really clean. Broken up flooring. Bedroom very tiny with bed against one wall and narrow access on other side, again impossible for 70 year olds. Not ADA compliant by any means! Terrible!!

It was very clean and convenient to all attractions. Check in and out were very easy. Loved the garage parking and quiet little neighborhood. Great experience!
