Difficult to find the signboard & hence place once reaching the address

Such a lovely Hostel. One of the best I've ever stayed. Feels more like a family. Beds are comfy. Rooms with AC. Breakfast is amazing. Free coffee and Tea all day. Well located in Kota Kinabalu.

You feel like home. Breakfast is delicious, every days something different. Also in the afternoon someone cooks some snacks. And you always have coffee and water. You can also cook, do laundry. There’s always someone around to talk, very good vibes by the way. And The staff is amazing.

Friendly staff who gave us lots of travel advice and delivered excellent service. Good room with comfortable beds. Nice and social common area, delicious different homemade breakfast every morning ! Thanks for the stay, I would definitely come again.

Water pressure was a bit low.

The location, the owners helpfulness and kindness, the breakfast (selfmade and very tasty)

No air-condition in common rooms, just in bedrooms. Meaning people would just take all their calls in the bedroom, with no respect to the time of night. I've booked a 4 bedroom and got a 8 bedroom because of an internal booking fault.

The beds were clean. The staff were courteous. The breakfast was good

The toilet wasn't clean

The price is very cheap and this means you’re getting great value for money. I enjoyed the breakfast too: pancakes freshly cooked with chocolate and syrup. Filtered fresh coffee was excellent. Auntie Faith the host was superb in every way.

The mattress was thin; the shower water pressure was poor and the toilets were a little grubby. Cleanliness could improve but you’d forgo this for the superbly cheap price

- Great stay for a night, aircon in the room - I arrived in the middle of the night and they were really flexible with that and no problem to check in late!

- the free breakfast is very basic and not very balanced

- I did not know about the cats at the hostel before arrival and i'm allergic. - Even with the windows closed the noise from the street was very loud. (Revving vehicles, screaming, fireworks and music in the middle of the night, not only during weekend) - AC did not make the whole room cool. - Toilet floors always wet so pants and socks got wet, often out of toilet paper. - BED BUGS!! I was full of bites. The owner cleaned the room but it did not help. After noticing this issue I dove deeper into the hostels reviews and they seem to have had this problem for a long time. Have to pay to get all my things treated before taking them home because I don't want the bed bugs to get into my home. - Was very unclear who worked there and who were just locals who live in the hostel. - A lot of people walking around with just a towel on for no apparent reason. - Some mattresses so slippery the sheets would not stay on. Not good pillows.

I arrived late to the property due to flight delays, yet they still picked up the phone at 3:30am to let me and quickly get me to bed so I could sleep. “Faith” the owner also sat me down and helped me with my itinerary for Borneo and helped me arranged buses and activities. I couldn’t recommend this place more with staff being super friendly and accommodating, was a real home feel and when I’m back in KK will be booking again.

Couldn't find staff when I checked out so I had to leave without saying goodbye - I didn't like that. I will come back and try again!

My whole experience got taken over by the BEDBUGS! Can't say anything good as they seemed to ignore my complain. The lower bed under the 4 has bedbugs and you can see one smashed on its wooden wall. The staff are nice and the location not bad but I'm so mad right now that can't think of the good things :(

How come nobody mentioned the BEDBUGS!!! First night i was sick so I had long sleeves and pants so didn't notice anything but on the second night I got eaten up by BEDBUGS (see pics)! There was blood on my sheets and a smashed one of the wall.
