The price is quite high, but compared with other places on the island, it's totally reasonable.

If one of the apartments to be rented is a semi-basement (it was underground and beneath another apartment), it should be explicitly mentioned when making the reservation.

Amazing and friendly staff.

Faja Grande is a small village on a relatively quiet island in the Azores. The cottage is charming and spacious with good natural light and provides a fully equipped kitchen. A mini mercado, a larger mercado and a great restaurant on the point/beach were all within easy walking distance. Marcia, the manager, is efficient, funny and an incredibly hard worker! We would gladly stay here again.

We discovered throughout the Azores that beds are very firm and take some getting used to. This is true at Alojamentos Flores Island, too.

Hospitality was superb. Very good location for hiking. WiFi was good. Tea, coffee and some jam were provided.

Beds were quite old and made a lot of noise even when turning from one side to another. The room we got was quite dark and felt a bit like a basement (it was the only room like this and we got a bit unlucky)

Friendly host. Large house with quiet garden (good privacy). Especially the private washing machine was a big plus. Good choice of restaurants at walking distance and bbq option.

Nothing really worth mentioning. Only the shower may be improved one day (still okay though).

Marcia was lovely, atttentive and helpful.

The accomodation is well located. A supermarket with tasty bread is nearby. It was quiet. Good starting place for hiking. Marcia was very helpful.

The main room was a little bit dark because it had no window but we could eat outside most of the time so it didn't matter much.

our apartment was a small bungalow with a kitchen/living room and a separate bedroom. The small bungalow is situated in the middle of Faja Grande. Everything is in easy walking distance. A small supermarket is close by. Marcia our host was always cheerful and helpful, e.g. booking a table at a restaurant. The apartment was clean, quiet and had everything you needed.

The staff, the neighbour is very friendly and the cleanliness when we arrived was great.

The house was humid, the beds were not super comfortable, the shower is leaking. Compared to the price paid, it was a bit expensive.

The place looks like it was renovated in the 70’s, furnitures are old and pretty much everything is out style or comfort, there is a kitchen but you get the minimum, there is a washing machine but no soap, i didn’t want to buy a whole pack of washing fluid just for the one time I’ll use it, the general feeling was that the owner is trying to save the extra buck on everything that she could, we came because of the high score in booking but we really don’t understand why it has such a score. All this without mentioning the hassle to transfer the owner money by swift transfer and absorb additional commissions that were not included in the initial price. This place and the owner’s attitude has left us with a bad taste from Flores although the island is truly amazing, do yourselves a favor and stay away from this property.

Faja Grande is small, but lovely. This accommodation was very conveniently located, near a nice little 'supermarket.' The accommodation features a full kithcen, a salon and numerous bedrooms. The staff I met (the only staff?) was super friendly. The place is close to the bus stop. Everything was better than I expected. What a nice little town!

Nothing could have been better. I am looking forward to returning.

The hospitality was unforgettable! Our flight was delayed and we arrived long after reception closed, but they waited for us to check in and we’re so helpful. I believe they genuinely want their guests to have the best stay, and we did! The location is absolutely perfect and we had everything we needed.
