Our family of 8 were in Gaylord for a wedding. The house is located on the Main Street and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. On arrival we found the front door wide open. This was uncomfortable given the house fronts Main Street. As a 100 year old house it has its quirks and it appears the font door is a bit warped and the deadbolt is not latching I contacted the management company but never heard back. We found the house to be empty and enjoyed our stay. It has a "lived in feel" to it. My daughter described it best "it feels like the family moved out and left everything". There is a wide and ample array of household necessities to include laundry detergent, bath supplies to include hair dryer. The house holds a lot of antiques. Family photos and mementos are located throughout the house. It was a warm weekend in Gaylord and the air conditioning does not extend beyond the first level. There are tower fans but were not up to the task. The third floor bedroom was a sauna so we did not use this room. I recommend window units be installed in this space. I would stay here again.

Your home is very lovely. A perfect fit for our extended family that came up to ski in the area. The grandchildren loved playing in the house especially with the front stairs and back stairs. We also enjoyed the 2 family rooms. The children could watch their shows while we could watch ours.

This house was amazing! Everything was as advertised and there was plenty of space for all my grandkids to explore and play. The house is so eccentric and seems to have a story to tell. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend any large families to do the same. Proximity to local and chain restaurants was excellent as well. Overall, a great experience!!

My wife, sister in law, aunt and 2 young daughters stayed in this property for 4 days. We enjoyed the multiple living rooms, well stocked kitchen, and toys! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

We rented this property because of its location to ski resorts. The home was the perfect size for out family of 8, grandchildren and adults.

Could not have been better, great house, great location, great communication will book again.

Beautiful home and great stay!

Our group of 9 had a great time. The only issue was that the heat was a little tricky to balance. The very top level of the house was cool and perfect for sleeping- but the main level was very warm - even after turning the heat down.

Communication with property owner was great.
