My family and I enjoyed our stay. We were excited about the hot tub and the fire pit on the patio. Our evenings were spent outside enjoying the cooler weather and the fresh air.
It took some time and effort to figure out the fire pit, but we figured it out on our second night and enjoyed the fire until we heard the crash of a trashcan from a passing black bear.
We spent most nights eating at the house. We had to go to the store for a cheese grater and we improvised when we needed a basting brush.
We looked for some welcoming information from you when we first arrived, but we figured things out as we went along.
We loved the location and spending time outdoors.

This was our first cousins trip. All 1st cousins (9 of us). The cabin was so spacious and plenty of bathrooms. Updated decor. The deck was the best and the Kitchen amenities could not have been better. We all know we will rent this place again. The owners were very quick in their communication and made the stay wonderful for all of us. I highly recommend renting this place for your next vacation.

First off we stayed for a baseball tournament which happened to be on the same weekend as Strawberry Days - which could have been a nightmare for traffic and noise. But being on the other side of the river is key for avoiding the big city feel in small town Colorado. Secondly - the house is EXTREMELY well appointed with all necessities and wants - including a sleeping area for our six kiddos downstairs. We would absolutely stay here again and refer this property and the hosts to others. Thank you for everything!

Loved staying at this property! The home had everything we needed, and the hot tub was super easy to work. The location is perfect - you are surrounded by mountains and can hear the river running from the deck. We will absolutely stay here next time we want to have a weekend getaway in CO.

We were in town from San Diego, visiting our Colorado family. This house was so comfortable and well equipped! The path down to the river with the fall leaves was so special! It was close to town for groceries, but also felt quite private. Loved the view of Mount Sopris from the back deck!

We had 8 friends from around the country meet in Glenwood and we really enjoyed this property. Beautiful patio, cozy fireplace, nice location on the river. We would stay again and would be great for two young families traveling together.

This home was beautiful and convenient to downtown activities and shopping. We loved relaxing on the deck, with the sun, firepit and stars! The path down to the river is seclude, with a small overlook with table and chairs, that gives you another relaxing option.

Impressive property. Very clean, organized, and well equipped. The outdoor space was outstanding and provided us the perfect spaces for relaxing and visiting. Location was close enough to get to the activities we enjoy yet removed enough to enjoy tranquil evenings. Easy communication with hosts. A Glenwood Springs gem!

We visited Glenwood Springs with our family and a close friend's family. The downstairs kids room was perfect for everyone and made it very easy to hang out at night upstairs after they went to bed. The house was spotless when we got there and the communication with the owner during the stay was exceptional. Would definitely stay here again!

Every year our family heads to the mountains to celebrate our daughter's birthday. This year we headed to Glenwood Springs. We loved the location of this property (quiet, scenic, yet very close to everything--town, skiing, hiking, etc). The home has a great kitchen, and a fun bunk room for the kids. Pros: well stocked and updated kitchen. Nice path access down to the river and a pleasant deck. Close to town.
Cons: though overall the property seemed clean, there were dead bugs in the shower, spiderwebs in the kitchen and fingernail clippings under the couch. It just seems the cleaning crew wasn’t the most thorough. Some of the beds were super hard, the one I slept in was like sleeping in a hammock it was so soft. I actually chose to sleep with a blanket on the couch instead. There is lots of traffic noise here.
This property served our needs, but none of us would choose to stay here again for what it’s worth.

We grew up renting cabins on the river in Glenwood and were delighted to find a place with such great access to the river! The view was good from the deck but even better was the path down to a nice seating area and then stairs to get directly into the river! We thoroughly enjoyed the sounds and the nostalgia of being right nearby. As for the place, Kenny has done a fantastic job of making sure EVERYTHING is there that you need. The place is very clean and so well appointed! Nice to not have to buy basic seasonings to make meals. Finally, Kenny was very communicative and checked on us to make sure we were doing ok. Check in was easy and - a very very rare experience these days - literally NO expectations to clean, strip beds, empty trash at departure. We made sure to do the basics anyway, but to not be instructed to do them is so wonderful. Thanks for a great stay!!

We had an excellent stay! It was beautiful, fully equipped, amazing views. Everything brand new: washer/dryer, kitchen utensils and appliances, mattresses. HUGE deck. Used the grill. Very comfortable, very roomy, very cozy.

Kenny was a friendly and gracious host with great communication! He brought us a brand new toaster since the previous one had broken. He also trimmed some bushes on the path down to the river. Stunning view of Mt. Sopris from the deck and a great sitting area down by the river. The evaporative cooler worked well and cooled the house down perfectly. My family and I enjoyed our stay! Bachelorette Mountain Weekend
This property was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect location from everything we wanted to do over the weekend. The property had plenty of space for the 8 of us, and we spent a lot of time on the beautiful porch and by the river. Kenny was an amazing host to work with! He was so responsive, kind, and you can tell they really care about your experience! The house was VERY well stocked with everything you'd need and more during our stay. The patio is absolutely fantastic! All ages can enjoy this home. It's very close and convenient to town and the pools, yet it's quiet and the sound of the river is therapeutic. We'll definitely be back!

Great place on the river
We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable with plenty of room for 2 families. The location was fantastic with the river running right below and a spacious deck to sit outside and enjoy the views. The property was well kept and there was room for the kids to run and play.

Most travelers are always concerned with described vs. actual and can tell you it was exactly as described in the listing!
Two couple group was a very comfortable stay each having our own bedroom and bathroom. Full kitchen, large dining table and plenty of living room seating. There is a basement area but didnt use it. We are from Texas so it was still a bit cold during our stay but the fireplace and heating system worked great and kept us warm.
The property was beautiful with trees, river sound and huge deck overseeing it all and felt like having a little slice of nature to yourself. There is also the sitting area close to the waters edge that is a nice touch.
Location is on the residential side of the river so going into town is simply taking either direction of the one road to cross. Plenty of restaurants, breweries, shopping and stuff to do minutes away.
Finally (and important) the owners were very responsive to any questions before and during our stay!

Very nice
There were nine adults in our family group and we had a great experience. We brought an extra queen sized blow up mattress to keep married couples together. The house has been newly remodeled with upgraded, stylish fixtures and furnishings. It was perfect for our needs. We especially appreciated the fully outfitted kitchen with an extensive selection of nice kitchen items and plenty of plates and glasses. Large-screen TVs everywhere. We'll be back.
