This home is in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to all the fun lake activities. It was spotless and had plenty of everything we needed for our stay. Everything worked well.

The house was much more than expected. Beautiful historic garden district neighborhood. House was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The backyard was perfect for our dogs when we needed to leave them. Walked to Sherman Street every evening with our dogs to have dinner. Very dog friendly town. Dogs are even welcome on the lake cruise.

I would not stay here again. The photographer did a great job. The house was not as nice as presented on line. The backyard was not nice. The patio furniture was terrible and we showed up to the previous renters dog poop. We left the house cleaner then we found it. The bedding was old and the mattresses were stained.
I was annoyed by VRBO billing issues and the multiple emails while I was trying to enjoy my vacation when it was vrbo’s billing issue. Probably will not use VRBO again.

The property was very comfortable and well-maintained. It was located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, and was within easy walking distance to downtown activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Overall, dissatisfied. A/C didn't work and when repaired we had no control (Nest) beyond varying the temp between 69 and 71°. Ice maker didn't work and could not be fixed during our stay. Amenities were lacking---no hot pads, place mats, large skillet to cook for 6 people. Clothes dryer only worked in 2-minute segments, requiring constant re-starts. Too much reliance on high-tech that didn't work properly.

We REALLY enjoyed our 4 night stay! The house was well equipped for our 8 family members. In a previous post someone said the house smelled like animals so I was a bit worried but there was not even a faint smell of animal! The house was very clean and welcoming! We will definitely stay again if going to the CDA area. On a side note, one of the extra blankets that was available was so comfortable we purchased one online. :)

There are 2 floors. Game room with pool table. Be prepared to shovel snow if rent in winter. Great local to DT. Kitchen could be better stocked. Downstairs bedrooms carpeted...tired and not the cleanest. Huge sofa with a bit of a funny odor. This house accomodates a large group nicely.

We were very comfortable at this vrbo. It was clean, great location, allowed for dogs with a secure fenced back yard.
The only thing that we would have also liked was to watch football and soccer on the tv but didn’t have the channels available.

This home was perfect for my family of four and in laws. The kids were able to have the downstairs with the fun pool table to themselves. It’s in a great location and close to downtown and the lake. It’s also a great house to bring your dog with you - not easy to find!

The location of this property was great! It was about a 10 minute walk to downtown CdA and far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We had 4 couples and the house fit us all and our needs perfectly! We can't wait to book again next time!

Great location.
Overall the house worked. The location made up for the shortcomings. The kitchen was poorly stocked and needed a really deep cleaning. Kitchen towels were not fit for washing cars. Luckily I always bring my own. The kitchen floor was dirty and sticky. We cleaned it ourselves. My husband repaired the broken kitchen faucet himself. The hall bathroom tub would not drain. We cleaned that too. The shower curtain was disgusting. All the floors needed mopping. The backyard was nice for the toddlers to run around in if we made sure they would not fall in the window well right off the patio door steps. The living room furniture was a little worn and the carpet needed a good cleaning too. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and the bathroom linens were like new. All the bedrooms were a comfortable size. We had plenty of room to park cars both on and off street. With a little TLC and some deep cleaning this house would be ideal. As it was on our visit I could not give it more than 3 stars.

The house itself is comfortable and in a great neighborhood. We couldn't figure out what the bad odor was when we first arrived and later learned it was from pets including a cat. The house is is lacking in kitchenware such as glasses, etc. Kitchen is sparsely furnished. There were exactly two blankets in the whole house and one stank of cat urine. There were NO beach towels or beach chairs. We rented another home around the corner for our overflow family that was 1/3 the cost and it had everything and was clean. This house needs a deep cleaning. We were extremely disappointed. Our family rented a total of 10 homes in the area - this was the only management company that refused to release the address of the home (even though it had been paid for for months) until 10 days before arrival. There are so many homes to rent in the area - find another one.

Great location. House was lovely. A little sparse on kitchen materials (glasses, dishes, etc.) but otherwise just fine. Fun home with the pool table. Great layout/floorplan.
