We had a great stay. Mimi’s home is charming and very clean. It’s definitely old, but has a beautiful charm that is unique to homes from that time. The master bedroom and bathroom are very comfortable. It’s only a few blocks from the cute downtown of Del Ray. Several nights we all walked and had dinner at Evening Star restaurant (recommended by host) great food and cocktails. Mimi was very responsive and we would definitely stay at her house again.

This home is absolutely beautiful, and has everything you need for a restful vacation. The enclosed porch and sitting rooms are perfect for a fun conversation with friends. And Del Rey is a lovely party of Alexandria to explore, within easy walking distance of the house.

This house is perfect for a gathering- even better than the pictures show. The outdoor space is a real highlight- we spent most of our time lounging in the screened in porch and grilling in the yard.
It's a great location, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Mimi was very communicative and even let us check in a little early. We would definitely book here again!

This house was great. I am originally from Chicago and love old school architecture and this home fits the bill. This house has great character. The house was very roomy and clean. We had family staying in a hotel but came to visit and there was plenty of room for entertaining. The owner was an absolute delightful person. Even stopped over to show us something. This house is close to everything so made things so much easier if you are not familiar with the area. The only drawback was street parking but that is the same as Chicago so it truly did not bother us. I would definitely stay there again and tell my friends abd family to stay there if they head to dc. Thanks Mimi for making our experience better after our awful flying experience.

My out of town family were impressed with this cozy toasty retreat during my December wedding this past weekend.
My mom and sisters were pleased with the carefree ease and gracious setup while staying here. This VRBO is homey, yet stylish, and very comfortably furnished.

Mimi is a great property owner, and the property's location, space, cleanliness, and amenities were all we needed. Walking distance to all the wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars... Also walking distance to parks and playgrounds for the toddler... Lastly in between the wedding weekend big events, it was the place people took a break, plenty of places to prep and feed family and friends. Just perfect, highly recommended, thanks Mimi!

I cannot say enough good things about Mimi as a host and her fabulous home!! Mimi was always quick to respond when we had a question and even reached out to see if we needed anything the morning of checkout.
Mimi’s house is beautiful and had absolutely everything we could possibly need or want! Our group was our run family in town for the Marine Corps Marathon and Mimi’s home was perfect for us!! The screened porch and outdoor patio areas were fantastic for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening and the location in Alexandria couldn’t have been better! If Mimi’s property is available in the future, I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Host was gracious and responsive throughout the rental process, house and property were as advertised and everything was clean and comfortable. Neighborhood and house are both true gems and we would highly recommend to anyone. Short walk to restaurants and bars, comfortable beds and furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Weather was excellent, so we spent a lot of time in the yard and on the sun porch. We were a group of old friends from college having an impromptu reunion, and we never lacked anything and really enjoyed our stay.

Mimi's house is amazing! It's located in close proximity to the best restaurants on "The Avenue" in Del Ray. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was a great home base for exploring DC and Alexandria with our 2-year-old. Thank you for a great stay!

Our stay at this Del Ray home was perfect. Mimi's home is beautifully decorated and spacious. We felt right at home and the house had all the amenities we could have asked for. There is an amazing outdoor patio area that unfortunately we did not use as it was too cold to enjoy. Maybe next time!
