GOOD - Great views, Secure, Quiet & good access. BAD - Couldn't lock front/back doors. Key didn't work. Dead bolt frozen in. Refrigerator needs work. Constantly was beeping. Froze our food, ice dispenser didn't stop ejecting ice. Stove. left front burner didn't work. Igniter is broken off. Smoke alarm in one of the upper bedrooms was missing. Thermostat needs to be fixed to wall.It is just hanging by wires. It does work however! Toilet paper holder in the master bedroom area needs to be fixed again. Has been knocked off and put back on several times due to use of long screws Carpet in master bedroom was curled up & clear tripping menace! Not one spatula in the place. Nor a corkscrew. Walls throughout were filthy. Some things had been stuck on onto walls above living room windows - pretty unsightly. You might try repainting with semi-gloss or satin, it cleans better. Floors throughout were also filthy. You might want to have a talk with cleaning people!!! Most mattresses like sleeping on plywood except bunks which were really, really soft. Living room sectional is totally sagging & broken. Really uncomfortable. We were relagated to sitting on dining chairs when watching TV. Last but not least. I would highly recommend that IF you are a Senior or over weight or otherwise not in "tip top" shape, you find another place to stay. The stairs are KILLER!

Beautiful home in a quiet area. Close to everything. Some new home construction nearby but not a problem.

I had a great stay! The living areas were big and perfect for relaxing. Everything was clean and tidy, which made me feel at home. The place had everything I needed, from a kitchen full of supplies to good bathroom products. You can tell the hosts want to make sure guests are comfortable. I really liked staying here and would recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable, well-equipped place to stay.

We planned a family weekend getaway. We wanted a beach house with no close neighbors and in a quiet area. The beach house is in a gated community which was a plus. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Each bedroom has a full size bathroom. I highly recommend this place!!!

Great property! Amazing views, clean and no neighbors on top of you. About 20 mins to get downtown- which was perfect as around the house was very quiet and in gated neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is new, super clean, and the owners communication was great!! We will definitely be booking here again.

Our group of ten visited Galveston to celebrate the birthdays for my best friend and my husband. The Egret's nest home was well maintained, had seamless check-in/check-out and had amazing sunset views over the gulf. The neighborhood was quiet and off the beaten path but close enough to shopping, beaches and fishing. We plan to visit and stay again for our next adventure.

This is a fantastic newer home with a spectacular view and enough beds, rooms with private baths, and large gathering areas to gather friends or families. House includes all of the amenities you could need. Fully stocked kitchen - just bring food! Property manager had great communication and made check in, check out, and home instructions so easy. Would love to return for longer visit!

Beautiful home with great sunset views! Perfect vacation home for our family of 16. Lots of space & privacy for everyone. We were just minutes from the beach, Moody Gardens, etc. We all enjoyed our stay.

Really nice new house on the bay with great views and the spacious decks to enjoy it. Minutes from golf, Moody Gardens, golf, and the beach. Gets you into the “island time “ feel in a hurry. Would definitely stay there again!
