We enjoyed a long weekend in Weatherford. This spot was a great place to land at the end of a day exploring locally and also an easy drive to hit some highlights of Fort Worth. It looks like a great old house (my wife wants a house tour) and the guest quarters were exactly as advertised and made for a very nice stay. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We enjoyed this sweet little cottage. Amazingly we were welcomed with a dozen of the most gorgeous fresh cut roses sitting on the dining table and a very sweet personable note from our host, Ashley. She was a phenomenal host who made us feel very welcome, went above and beyond, and answered our messages promptly. Everything was clean and very comfy. The pool and grounds were wonderful and the whole place has so much character. You feel like you’re out in the country, but you are right in town, which made it very easy to visit restaurants and boutique in town. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

Stayed at this property to celebrate my anniversary. It was absolutely amazing. Even though you are close to everything in Weatherford you feel like you’re so secluded here. It’s so quiet and peaceful. While we were swimming a deer was grazing just a few feet away. I would recommend staying here…you won’t regret it.

The accommodations were so lovely, comfortable, and amenities were perfect. Communication with the host was impeccable-she responded right away if we needed anything or any info.
We would definitely stay there again! It is a perfect getaway! We didn’t get to use the pool because of timing and weather but it looked so inviting! Very quiet and peaceful.

This is our second visit to the Top of the Hill cottage and it is just as charming as the first time. It is such a quiet and calm environment created by hosts, Mark and Ashley. The little touches leave a welcoming mark on one's heart. We felt secluded sitting on top of the hill and enjoyed the variety of wildlife, including squirrels and deer. If you desire to stay at a beautiful and serene location in Weatherford, this is it!

Relaxing stay
It’s a beautiful old home with some updates, the property is well maintained. I stayed in the 1 bed / 1 bath bottom apt. It was comfortable and peaceful, a great place to relax. Ashley and Mark live in the main home and are visible at the property. They’re good people. Definitely where I’ll stay on my next trip.

Lovely spot!
Hubs and I decided last minute to run away for the July 4th holiday and we found this wonderful place. The whole property was gorgeous! Ashley was very attentive. We enjoyed the pool, and we had the most perfect view for Weatherford's fireworks display from their yard. And we personally loved the blackout curtains, as we like to sleep in the dark! We highly recommend the Top of the Hill.

Wonderful Stay
The location is excellent, great access to everything you need but so quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable, the pool wonderful, and Ashley is an excellent host. There’s a small fridge and microwave, and she even had snacks and cold bottled water in the fridge when we got there which was so appreciated, as we came in hot and tired. Will definitely stay again when in town!

Top of the Hill Cozy Cottage
When I first checked out the Vrbo, I read Top of the Hill Cozy Cottage. As I looked at the pictures I truly thought we were renting the little cottage by the pool. Instead we had the smaller room #1 below the house.
It was clean and worked well for just the 2 of us. And of course, the price was good too. I just thought we were getting an outstanding off-season deal for the cottage.

Cozy and Comfortable
My husband and I traveled to Weatherford to visit his son who had recently moved there from California. We have not visited this area before and were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful community. Speaking of wonderful, Ashley (Host) and this property were just that. Ashley was friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the whole process--from reservation to check-out. The property was as described. It is quiet, relaxing and peaceful. The room was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Snacks and bottled water were waiting for us upon our arrival. The grounds and neighborhood are so quaint. We will be returning and we plan on sharing this property with family and friends who will be visiting soon. Thank you Ashley for an amazing relaxing stay. Charming get-way spot!
We loved our stay at the Top of the Hill cottage! The décor was pretty, bright, and cozy and the setting next to a 100+ year old Victorian house was beautiful. The location was great; just a few miles away from the heart of old town Weatherford. We were greeted with a kind welcome note and complimentary snacks, water, and toiletries. Ashley was wonderful to work with and accommodated our travel schedule. We hope to return in the Spring sometime to take advantage of the loaner-bicycles they offered as well.
