We really liked this place. It's in a quiet area, the room is really clean, and Kai was really kind and accommodating.

Very nice room with a beautiful view. The deck area is Great for morning coffee or cheese and wine in the evening. Our teens loved the pool. Great hospitality.

My two kids and I had a great 5 night stay. We came to California for a vacation and this property was the perfect location. It is close to the airport and San Fransisco and all the beautiful sites in the area. Kai is a great host and even accommodated an early check in so the kids could enjoy the pool earlier. The pool and backyard are truly a little oasis. We would highly recommend.

We needed a place to stay that was convenient to Stanford Medical in Redwood City; this accommodation was perfect and all that we needed. This small apartment is on the ground floor of a home that is in a very quiet neighborhood and the owners live upstairs; we never really heard or saw them -- this is a very quiet and comfortable environment with immediate access to pool and patio sitting area (very pleasant and cool), (out an immense glass sliding door which we liked to keep open at night to experience the wonderful ocean breezes coming over the mountain). Everything is conveniently supplied: a small microwave oven, refrigerator (freezer just needs ice cube trays for drinks), and kitchen supplies. The bathroom is lovely since it has a walk-in shower with no door on it -- open plan. The bed is extremely comfortable! And all linens and warm blankets supplied. It was all we needed for our short visit to the Bay. Thanks Kai & family!

Everything as promised

Although the views are beautiful and it was a quiet location, the 'kitchen' area has small refrigerator and microwave - not very accommodating for cooking in room. Portable A/C unit was loud. The room is advertised as 1-bedroom and 1-bath, but there was no space to unpack luggage and store suitcases. You walk directly into the bathroom from outside. It was a nice place to stay but not what we were expecting.

We loved our stay here in San Carlos! This place was perfect for our weekend in the bay area to celebrate our son's 13th birthday with Giants games & swimming! The space was spotless, we had excellent communication with the host who even accommodated us with a BBQ for our stay, and the view from the deck and pool were incredible! Thank you, Kai, for also accommodating our late checkout so we could enjoy one last dip before leaving! We highly recommend staying here & plan to again ourselves the next time we are looking for a bay area get away!

Great little studio apartment that was a perfect location for us. Just beautiful views, very friendly hosts. No kitchen per se but microwave and small frig worked great for us.

My family of 4 (husband, 13 & 11 year old) travels the country visiting ballparks & the surrounding cities. Kai's property was the perfect location for us to see the Giants & A's major league teams while getting to visit San Francisco too. San Carlos is a gorgeous spot and the views from the house are incredible! The weather was on the cooler side, so we didn't get to use the pool as much as we hoped, but we were comfortable during our down time. We loved having a 30 min drive to our destinations without the stress of staying in San Francisco. Thanks to Kai & his family for being so hospitable & welcoming!

If you’re looking for a serene, clean, beautiful space with a pool and veranda, this is your place. The pool? Very nice to use and to look at out your sliding door access. Kai was very accommodating and communicative and the bed was very comfortable. Leave your pillow at home, he’s got you covered. He’s put together a little kitchenette for those basics and you’ve got the fridge and coffee to start your day. Nice little workspace if you need to do a little work. The internet speed is not fast. It supports the streaming just barely but not much more, so save those Zoom meetings for elsewhere. Other than that, this is a perfect 10 place to stay. I’d stay here again in an instant.

Host was very friendly, no ice available and portable AC really loud. Overall a very pleasant experience. The pool was definitely the best part!

Owners are nice and friendly. Place is absolutely perfect. View is stunning. Pool is clean and great. Beds clean and comfortable. Not enough good things to say. Next time in Bay Area I will def stay her again. Thanks to Kai and his family for being very gracious hosts.

We enjoyed our stay.

This was a great experience from the beginning. It communication between our family and the hosts. They even accommodated our stay with a barbecue so that we could cook on site. We brought our two boys with us, ages 9 and 12. They had an absolute blast, but we will likely come back to this property again in the summer, when the pool is a little warmer. Absolutely loves this space ❤️
