The property was in the perfect location. We could walk to everything. The pool was perfect for the kids and had an amazing view. We will definitely be back to El Faro.

Would stay again big condo, great pool, beach was clean.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at El Faro. The staff was very pleasant and Benjamin was very helpful. On our first day the AC leaked water when we turned it on and within 10 minutes, we had someone that came to fix it. The view of the pool and ocean were absolutely gorgeous. The location was perfect, near the ADO, quinta and everything we enjoyed doing. We met some permanent residents during our stay there who were also very friendly, Dennis and Mickey. They have great recommendations for food if you run into them. The beds were comfortable and showers were great. There were 6 of us and we all comfortably shared rooms. We did have trouble getting fresh towels, but I believe that was by the hotel staff itself and not the condo. I liked that we received bracelets for the pool. It avoided having strangers or overpopulation of the pool. There was also consistent security which made us feel safe. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

This condo was a perfect fit for our girls trip! It was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was so kind and helpful. The management team was so responsive and easy to work with. We had a couple issues come up during our stay and I got responses right away each time! The location of the condo is perfect as well- I definitely hope to be back!!

Very clean. Cold AC. Hot water. Fresh bottled water. Ideal location for in town restaurants and night life… quiet despite the load club science nearby. Lots of space. Security guards on site all hours. Access control. Felt safe entire time. Will stay here again. Highly recommend if you want to walk around the town to shop or go to restaurants of all types - high end to local… FYI - smell from seaweed on beach is present in the town regardless of property. This place cleans it up daily.

Great place, beautiful property and views, loved having the water jugs available

Walkable to everything! Property is just as listed. Close to hundreds of shops and restaurants, and a short walk to the ferry to Cozumel. Music from the beach clubs can go late into the night, but you can't hear it from inside the condo unless you have windows open. Awesome pool with nice area for kids off to the side. Beach is very small, and currently covered in seaweed in the mornings, but they work so hard to clean it each day between 7-10am. Very clean property with very few maintenance issues. The air conditioning was a little lacking in the master bedroom, but I'm sure it's a quick fix. Definitely would come back!!!

March 2023 The location of this property is perfect. So close to any restaurant you could want. There is a convenient store connected to the building which is so convenient. There is a Walmart 5 blocks away you can walk to. There are taxies waiting outside the Walmart incase you don't want to carry your groceries home. There is a taxi station that is very reasonable and friendly 200 feet up the street from the building making transportation to anywhere super easy. The property is very clean and secure. The property was very quiet at night despite being so close to all the action. A few things to know. The beach in front of El Faro is nice with soft white sand but not expansive. So if you want room to play sports and that kind of things you will have to walk down the beach quite a a bit to find a location wide enough. Also keep in mind that they do get quite a lot of seaweed in this area so depending on the time of year you may be dealing with that. I will say that they did try hard to keep the beach clean of seaweed despite the difficult conditions and we were still able to enjoy some time on the beach. We stayed in Coral 303 and the condo is quite large. The property manager is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Cleaning is every other day, which I like, and they do provide drinking water. The coaches, mattresses and pillows I'm sad to say are showing their age and are overdue for an upgrade to live up to the Five Star Property name.

Hate to focus on the negative while in such a beautiful place as playa but had a couple issues we hoped would’ve been resolved quickly that weren’t. The people at the front desk weren’t the most hospitable either. We had a hard time getting our A/C and fans to work - Our toilet broke while there- the dryer didn’t work - we asked for washcloths several times that were supposed to be provided that weren’t - took forever to give them to us. I will definitely be back to Playa but won’t stay in this unit. Overall it was just “ ok “ since we weren’t indoors for the majority of the day .

This is a beautiful unit with stunning views of the pool and ocean. Bed was comfortable pillows were horrible. Air conditioning worked great. There were a few maintenance issues that we photoed and sent to property managers, who were very responsive. We were supposed to have maid service every other day, did the very minimum. Didn’t empty garage or change towels, made some beds and not others. Overall a great property with lots of room and excellent property management.

Lovely apartment with lots of space and wonderful views towards the pool area and ocean. A little bit worn out here and there but nothing major. Smallish kitchen and a little scarse on kitchen facilities, cuttlery, frying pans, glasses etc. We could hear the noise from nearby clubs which was a minus. Overall we had a lovely stay though.

Place is massive with large view of the ocean and the rest of El Faro properties. Would recommend to any of my family and friends. Only oddity is we never knew there was a housekeeping service once a week and we weren’t informed of when that was. They did a very rushed “clean” and may have been better if they didn’t stop by at all (they put wet used towels on our dry clean clothes, didn’t sweep, used a dirty rag on clean counters and took the recycling but not the garbage). No fault to this beautiful condo, but that was our only minor complaint!

This was property was so beautiful. The host was fantastic and the place was very large. The beds were very comfortable and we are not used to having extra toilet paper, trash bags, etc in the places we rent so this was fantastic. Restaurants, stores and night clubs were all within walking distance. The staff was always very friendly and the grounds were beautiful. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again. We cannot say enough about this property! It was a perfect fit for our family of four. The condo exceeded our expectations in every way - from the condo itself and the pool/beach, to its proximity to multiple restaurants, shops and the ferry to Cozumel. We spent a lot of time at Inti, Zenzi and Parrillo restaurants. We rented a car with ease and drove to Tulum/Xel-ha. We also spent a day driving around Cozumel. Our favorite day was spent at Xplor. The beach has tons of activities, including parasailing, a banana boat, jet skis, snorkeling, fishing… Our kids loved everything about this place as well, which is high praise. Muchas gracias for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to return some day soon.

Pictures don't do justice how beautiful of a view we had. Condo was clean and front desk staff was friendly. Security rounded very often so we felt safe. Very close to 5th Avenue action and clubs but once inside it was very quiet. Had a problem with dishwasher but property management was quick to resolve it. We would love to come back and stay her again. Highly recommend!

We loved this gorgeous condo! The location was perfect…beautiful beach, great shopping and great area for foodies. We have 3 teen daughters and this place exceeded every expectation they had..which is NOT an easy thing to do! A simple stroll will take you to restaurants, boutiques, travel agents for booking those excursions. Safety & security was top priority here, and greatly appreciated! Parking is non-existent without prior arrangements made, be sure to discuss with host. A perfect stay!

We stayed in Coral 303 and the view from the condo are breathtaking. It is centrally located near everything including restaurants, Starbucks and discotheques but is quiet and safe. The apartment was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The housekeeping services were not great. We always found our used, wet discarded towels from the floor folded and hung up again for use. They left the floors more dirty after their visit. The management was very available and helpful. I highly recommend this condo and will definitely stay here again.

Just a wonderful property with the perfect location overlooking the pool and ocean. Cleaning staff could have been more diligent I.e. had to ask more than once to have garbage removed, inside and outside glass tabletops never cleaned (we did them), pillow cases not changed, etc. this was the only drawback we had as Laura, our property manager, was super nice and responsive overall, an outstanding property.

We had a great experience in this condo! Very clean and just as described. We all fell in love with the pool. We spent a lot of time there since there was just too much seaweed at the beach. But everything was perfect! The location was great as well. We went for coffee each morning at Starbucks which is literally at the corner up the street. Very close to shops and everything else you’ll need. Overall it was an awesome place to spend our vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your Condo with us. I hope to be back very soon ❤️

Our experience with this property was outstanding. We really loved the space, the view is incredible, the pool was amazing as well. The location of the condo is right in the heart of Playa Del Carmen. The kitchen is well equipped although we did not do much cooking since we were on vacation and enjoyed a lot of the restaurants in the area. The condo has plenty of towels, the rooms are very spacious and have beautiful finishes in the bathrooms and very spacious closets. Having laundry available inside the condo as well was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back. Some feedback for improvement would include changing the covers of the beds since the bedding was not very comfortable, and also have some blankets in the living room area for the kids use. Another thing that needs improvement is the parking situation, we asked for a parking spot but management said they did not have any available. However, the garage was always empty and there was plenty of room for us to park our vehicle. We had to park our car on the street and had to move it several times a day, add money to the parking meter, etc, to avoid it getting towed. The situation with the parking was a pain because the complex specially considering that there were plenty of empty spaces in the garage but for some reason they were unable to help us renting one.

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Pool, condo and location were all fantastic!

Place was super awesome, only thing I wasn’t used to was not being able to have anyone over at the property after 6pm. It was such a nice place, with such a nice view, and we only had 4 people staying there. We had friends that were staying at a hotel that was a little further from downtown, and anytime we wanted to walk back to the room to use the bathroom, grab a change of clothes, or anything like that, no one was allowed to come in. That would be my only complaint though! If you’re traveling there with the intention of being able to have some guests over, sign them up as guests before you go

The condominium is great and the location is perfect for a family with teens. However, the condominium did not have some items at least we think are some basics for a rental: board games, pens (think bored teens during a rain storm) and the like.

We have stayed at other condos at El Faro and coral 303 was the perfect condo...Between the views and the beautiful condo. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a block from 5th Ave. and next to Zenzi’s... a half block from Dirty Martini Lounge. Location... location ... location.

Nice condo with the best location, could use some updated furniture in and out. Hot tub did not work. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and baths were good. The pool at this facility is clean and very nice.

Group of five stayed in September in this beautiful, well kept 3 bedroom condo. All amenities, supplies, fresh water and kitchen utensils made the stay more enjoyable. Security and parking are excellent. Close to everything with a breathtaking view of the pool and ocean. I will definitely be back soon.
