The cottage was so cozy and quaint! Everything was clean, and very comfortable. The living room windows had beautiful ocean and sunset views. I especially enjoyed the super comfy sofa near the gas fireplace, and the rocking chair on the backyard deck. The cottage has everything for a relaxing, enjoyable beach vacation, it was an amazing week!

We simply love this place. I usually stay here a couple times a year. It has become a regular place for us to visit. The cabin is always clean close to the beach and quiet. It is also dog friendly. If you have a pet we will be coming back soon. We love this place.

Charming house with a big fenced backyard, hot tub, fire pit, and propane BBQ. All you need for a beach getaway to dog-friendly Dillon Beach. Trail leading to beach feels like your private entrance to the dunes and beach. Loved the history of the house, all the wood paneling, plus modern kitchen amenities. Communication easy with VRBO manager. We brought plenty of food for our 3 night stay as there are no near grocery stores. The little general store up the road has a few staples (eggs, milk, cheese).
Plenty of chairs and sitting areas to relax in the living room and in backyard. Smart TV with Roku and streaming services. Lots of DVDs to play too. The view of the ocean is partially obstructed because of another house you can see Tomales Point and across the Bay. This in no way takes away from the house because it is just a two minute walk to the beach.
We brought our own fire pit wood (you can buy a bundle on the way into town) but there was already some there for at least one fire. And there was kindling and newspaper already there.
The hot tub was easy to use.
House instructions in binder was helpful and also had interesting history of area.
Thank-you for such a nice stay - we will return again next year.

My daughter and I had a great time during our visit. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and was just minutes away from the beach. We loved the backyard. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for sharing your cottage!

We love staying at this house! It’s always clean and well equipped. Even with just one bathroom, the house accommodates 3 adults very comfortably. It’s also very pet friendly. Our little dog just loves the back yard, and so do we! This is our favorite place to stay in Dillon Beach.

This cottage has a great location with a view of the ocean I enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach. The rooms were clean, the hot tub was easy to use and the WiFi worked great

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for a few said with kids (2.5 and newborn) and dog. The cabin has so much character and we enjoyed the lovely enclosed yard. The Dillon Beach resort with general store and restaurant has about anything you could need and we did a grocery shop in Petaluma at Whole Foods on the way in. We hope to come back again next year!

We had an amazing trip and love that this property was so close to the beach. The property host was wonderful and so easy to deal with. We even left some items behind and she made it seamless to get those items back and was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!!

Super cute and cozy cottage. We enjoyed the view and location to the beach. Only recommendation would be to put a black out shade in the twin beds room. The wind kept knocking the outdoor light sensor on in the middle of the night. But would definitely stay here again!

We always love our stay at this cabin! With the large kitchen, fully equipped for cooking a beautiful backyard and views of the ocean. We like to come here twice a year I strongly recommend this cabin.

We loved our stay at this adorable house. It was exactly as it was described in the profile. We loved the proximity to the beach, the stove and the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Always clean and has everything we need. We stay here regularly and are always impressed with the additions/improvements. We had a rainy day but didn’t mind just hanging out inside for most of that day because the house is so comfortable. And of course we love the backyard!

Great little house! Great location right next to the beach! And we loved the fenced yard for the dog. The backyard was fantastic but unfortunately the hot tub was not available for use. Would have been nice to sit in and watch the sunset. Just an FYI, there were ants in the bathroom. Overall well worth the he price, and wonderful location! Would stay here again

We had such a great stay and we didn't want to leave! We loved the cottage. The pictures don't do it justice. It's lovely! They yard is fantastic! Spacious, great deck to watch the ocean and surfers and sea birds. The location couldn't be better- it's right next to the path leading down to the beach. We can't wait to stay again!

It’s clear this house isn’t just a vacation rental but is much loved and well cared for. Pictures don’t really capture the warmth and comfort we feel when staying here. It’s reached the point that we arrange our Dillon Beach plans so we can stay at this house. It has everything we need and is consistently clean. Every visit we notice upgrades, sometimes small, thoughtful touches, sometimes major improvements, like the yard! It’s so well done! We had a lot of fun discovering the little treasures tucked in the plant beds. The owner has done a fantastic job of bringing the warmth and comfort we feel inside the house to this new outdoor space. It’s hard for us to imagine a trip to Dillon Beach that doesn’t include staying at this much loved home.

This is a charming place with lots of character in a great location for Dillon Beach. Master bed is comfy, kitchen is well stocked and the back yard/patio/hot tub area is wonderful. Has ocean views and loved hearing the ocean from the house. A few suggestions: take warm bedroom slippers as owners don't want shoes on the carpets and it's cold some ((lots?) of the time. Bring in food & plan to cook. Restaurant options and groceries are limited. Bring beach towels. Pack so you can access stuff out of your baggage. Closet space is good, there is only one drawer available to use.

First time staying at Cats Meow. The home was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the view was great, and the place very comfortable. Ideal location as it was a short walk to the beach. Our guests slept in the (2) Twin
bedroom and they said it was comfy and we can say the same about the king bed. We did not use the hot tub, but the fire pit was great! I would recommend this home.

House is nice but older. Bathroom sink needs to upgraded and one living room window needs a curtain or blind. They have a nice tv but in the afternoon when the sun hit the house you can't see it. Everything else was fine. The biggest problem is getting a hold of the manager. Two different names on listing and I have no response yet to a problem with the hot tub. I sent an email 3 days ago before we left per the instructions. The lid on the hot tub is so old and petrified that it weighs probably a 100 pounds. So payed for it and could not use it. We are seniors and can't lift that much.

The Cats Meow is a charming beach cottage with picturesque views to Dillon Beach. You instantly feel at home right away. Love all the redwood paneling in this quaint home. Kitchen has everything you need. The cottage is well stocked with towels. Wonderful watching the sunset each night from the hot tub! My Granddaughter loved all the flowers in the backyard. Which is large with plenty of seating and beautiful views!

I've stayed here before the the addition of the updated backyard in the old existing empty lot. The view is beautiful and the outdoor area is perfect for a still day. Perfect location for a walk to the beach or soft serve at the local market.

We lost our cabin the Caldor fries so the cozy cabin feel and look of the inside just made us all feel comfortable (and a bit sad) and like we were back at our own cabin. The property is very nice and located in a great spot neighborhood. The kids loved the hot tub and sitting on the front porch out of the wind.

Quiet, rustic cabin with beautiful yard. I almost don’t want to give a raving review or everyone will want to rent this place and I won’t be able to. We have been coming here about every six months for the last couple years. The cabin has everything hot tub fireplace all the TV you could want and a view of the ocean. The beach is a five minute walk away.. we will be back probably in the next six months

This property is a fantastic Bodega Bay rental with quick, short access to the beach with beautiful views inside the house and from the back porch comfy rocking chairs. Wonderful Kitchen, made a couple great meals. The property managers respond quickly and they’re very accommodating.! Hope to stay here again!
