Our stay was great would definitely stay again. Found a number of small repairs needs attention. Tub in upstairs Jack and Jill bathroom drained slow. The view was spectacular.

Our 3 family group (14 total people) enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a short 10 minute walk to the beach club and beach. We rented a golf cart which was great for getting to both pools. The house has everything you need, just bring your clothes and food. Beds are comfortable and the 7 bedrooms give eveyone plenty of space. I would stay at this home again.

Overall my stay was great. There were a couple of things that needed to be addressed such as the outdoor grill had used cigars lying in the grill and I found hair inside the freezer of the refrigerator

We had a total of 10 children ranging from 2 years old to 8 years old, as well as 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us - easily and comfortably. The only few items we were lagging was a wine bottle opener, a broom and dust pan, and a battery to replace the one in the grill's ignition - other than that the house was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, silverware, and cooking utensils. Even thought the property is not on the beach side of the highway, it was a very short drive and walk to get to the beach. We'd stay again without much hesitation.

We brought a lot of stuff with us but the house was well stocked and ready to go!!!

The home was just what we needed for our large family group. The home is tucked back in a newer section of the development and for most of our stay we were completely alone. There were a few beach toys and chairs in the garage, and plenty of beach towels. We would definitely stay there again but there were a few things that could improve the experience. There was a nest of bees living in the roof of the lower level back deck. The propane tank for the grill was empty. There need to be a few more kitchen dish cloths and towels and at least a sponge with a textured surface for dishes. The upstairs master bath tub drain empties very very slowly. The dryer is frustratingly slow-it may not be vented properly. A medium sized load of laundry took 3 full runs to dry and even then was still damp. You’d be better off hanging everything outside to dry. The microwave also caused some of our party frustration. It was temperamental. The lockboxes need to be changed out. A binder with information about the home, the development and contact numbers would be helpful. A dry mop would be nice as the jute rugs shed fibers that clung to our feet. We definitely hope to return to the area in a few years and we will be checking to see if the Point West Bay Breeze Paradise is available.

This is a very nice property and we had a great time together for a family reunion. The layout of the house was great and having mostly en suite bathrooms was a big plus. However, when we arrived the house was 55° and it took several hours for the place to heat up to even 63°. The heater does need to be looked at. The microwave was dirty and my daughter used a towel in her bathroom that had long black hair inside of it. I would suggest having A talk with your cleaning crew.

beautiful home on quiet cul-de-sac. Kitchen has most of what you need (hopefully they will get a working can opener). We had our family Thanksgiving with 15 of us and had a great time. Two living areas and plenty of porches. Enjoyed watching the birds out kitchen window and back porch. Grandkids enjoyed riding their scooters when it wasn't raining as the street was very quiet. Beach is a short drive away. Enjoy this home as much as we did.

Very beautiful back view and if you need some quiet time the back porch view is so beautiful, also the house is very large with everything that you would need for a group event

This home was beautiful and very spacious. There were only two televisions in the home. This made it possible for the children to get outside and play and do more things together. The space was perfect for our large group.!

We had a wonderful visit. We are a group of 9 former college roommates who golf once per year in various locales. This was our best accommodations ever! Granted, it was much larger than necessary, but each of us had our own large bed. Five of us had gigantic rooms with a king sized bed and bathroom suite. The others shared a room each with a double bed (lower of a bunk bed). With couples and kids, this would very nicely accommodate 22. Even more with sleeping bags and pads in the giant walk-in closets. The house was clean and very well stocked with dishes, towels, etc... Also, Vacasa was very responsive with the few requests we had. The house is quite a bit west of the main part of Galveston in a serene and beautiful area. Also, try The Pointe restaurant. We all had a delicious meal there. Be aware that they close at 9 PM. Overall, I highly recommend this home.

The home was immaculate! We had 5 couples and every couple had their own space. The view was extraordinary! We loved the kitchen and the bar area. Lots of room for everyone.

Nice big house for our family vacation. Could have used some more cleaning and a different microwave!!

This house is great for big groups with plenty of room to spread out. Bedrooms are good size. Upon arriving at house, everything was super smooth with check in and they allowed us to check in early day of arrival. If the management fixed a few minor things this would be an awesome rental… for example, bedding quality was very poor (sheets and duvet were not all made up on beds properly and were super thin), Bar barely had any barware and only 4 wine glasses, dishwasher was not unloaded upon our arrival and propane tank was not full so we had to go out and purchase additional propane. Also mosquitos were absolutely awful around house so I would recommend bringing bug spray and citronella candles!! Overall a wonderful stay at a pointe west but just a few things that could escalate this rental from good to great! :)

A really beautiful home on the far western side of Galveston Island. Perfect for a nice relaxing stay in the area, with wonderful views onto the tidal Marah. A car is a near must as most activities and conveniences are a 20 minute drive at least.

We had 18 people in the house and had We plenty of room. The views are amazing and amenities were perfection. We were able to utilize the Beach Club which made our trip!! We definitely recommend this house and would stay here again!

The house is beautiful. It was big enough for our whole family.

This beach house is beautiful. It is in a great location, & was the perfect size for a bigger group. Public beach access within great proximity. Only down sides were the many mosquitos at night time, knives didn’t cut that great and the BBQ pit was extremely small for a house that holds 22 people. But overall our family loved it!

Our family of 16 could not have enjoyed more....what a fantastic home with all of the bells and whistles...views were beautiful and soooo peaceful! Would recommend to anyone...loved the resort area that was just a fun golf cart ride away for swimming and a few meals...beach area was perfect and not too busy! Bay Breeze gets a 10 from us! Thank you for being the best host as well.

Some issues but still Avery good experience. Highly recommended place!

The house was nice but not stocked as well as the other houses we have stayed at. The house sleeps 18+ but had only a service for twelve of nice plates. Yes, they had kiddy trays but we only had 1 that needed those and the rest of us wouldn’t use them. We had to share steak knives. One per every two people or so. They had bowls with lids but the lids didn’t fit the bowls. Two towel holder were just sitting on the wall not attached. Some sinks wouldn’t close and we had some contact wearer that had to use a different sinks. The one thing that really gave pose was it looks like there is mold over the front door from leaking. This is our third house we have rented in Pointe West. We loved the seven bedrooms as we need the beds for our large family but unless this one improves we will not rent it again. We also like being on the beach and we seemed to have less flies on the beach side. We love Pointe West and will come again. I hope they will have more homes with more bedrooms and bathrooms.

Bay Breeze is a nice comfortable space. The house was very clean and spacious for our group of 10 people. If I had any complaint it would be the strong bug spray smell in the house but at least I know you sprayed trying to kill those pesty things. I’ve rented homes from Vacasa several times and have never been disappointed. Thank you for a nice vacation in Galveston.

And the views - sitting and having coffee on that back porch with the cuts and inlets from the bay with all of the wildlife and birds was simply soul healing. Great, quiet neighborhood. Across the street from the beach and Beach Club. It needs just a few tiny things - or to make the renter aware of what’s not provided. *A dustpan (there’s two brooms but no dustpan) *Hot pads - there are NONE (we had to use washcloths *More than two dish towels for large groups staying a week! *A baking dish. There’s two cookie sheets but no pans to bake with - we had to go buy disposable aluminum ones *A book for the house with some basic information like trash day (It’s only found on the app which I didn’t see until last day, closest restaurants, instructions for very difficult to use microwave/oven [even the engineer agreed on that], closest stores, etc. *soft sheets! Very rough sheets Adding these simple and cheap things would make this five star home one of our top favorites ever. We needed help a couple times (internet out, etc) and help was quick to answer and arrive through our texts. Also, I loved our master bed - it was hard which is great for my back.
