Stayed here for a family vacation. It was very comfortable, quiet, and in a convenient location. Would definitely recommend!

Great location close to beach. Nice kitchen plenty of room for our family. Quiet peaceful neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. Even did some fishing in the near by lake. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the location of this Cayucos house (less than a two-minute walk to the sand). The accommodations were relatively modest. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking essentials. The twin beds, kitchen counter, and outside BBQ need some TLC, but that did not impact our enjoyment of being together with friends in this special central coast location. We would stay here again in the future.

This house isn’t in the state that the pictures portray (apparently the pictures are 5 years old). There is currently construction going on behind the house that didn’t stop until 5:30pm which we were not informed of. It’s very stuffy and there is “NO AC” so your only option is to open windows and listen to the construction. This house is also in desperate need of maintenance and unfortunately it is not taken care of very well. The walls are dirty, in some areas they patched huge holes but never repainted so it looks damaged, and the trim is falling off around some closets. All the beds squeak and all are sagging or have major indentations from people’s bodies. 2 years ago someone left a review complaining of the same issue, unfortunately it hasn’t been fixed. In the master bedroom the sheets and coverlet are stained, you open a cupboard in the master bathroom only for the faux drawer front to fall on your feet. The first thing you see when walking up the stairs is a dangling smoke detector that you aren’t sure works or not. The list goes on about the state of this house but the last straw for us that made us leave early, was a full propane tank next to a gas water heater! God forbid any fumes leaked out, it could have been catastrophic! They barely apologized and had no concern whatsoever. This house is a nightmare and dangerous to stay in! Do your family the favor and DO NOT STAY HERE! They don’t care about your experience and they sure don’t care about your safety!

This was the 2nd time we rented this home in Cayucos. We love the location, short walk to the beach, plenty of room in the home, love that it has 3 bathroom, and easy on & off HWY 1 if you want to head to Morro Bay & San Luis. We stayed at many different place in Cayucos & Morro Bay over the years, and this home fits us the best! Will definitely stay here again! Dave
