We had an amazing time staying at the ocean vista home, and got some of the most beautiful days of the summer during our stay.The only negative to this property was getting yelled at by the neighbor for using vegetables out of the garden on the rental properties land. We didn’t know we couldn’t and thought it was just a nice touch for guests to use local produce since there was a full kitchen.

rented this house for a fishing trip, it was awesome, I would 100% stay here again. The kitchen had just enough equipment to make cooking breakfast and dinner enjoyable. The rooms are very nice, it was a great place to come back to each night after fishing.

My family and I had an amazing time staying at Ocean Vista and wil absolutely be staying here/using Sitka Travel every year we return for the fine arts camp! Groceries delivered was a HUGE plus, as was the beautiful house, and Christine was always so kind when we had questions. Coming back next year!

Great rental. Can walk to dinner/shops/marina. House was large and clean. Everything worked great. Christine was very nice, easily reachable for questions. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re with a group of 4+. Great for kids.

We have been coming to Sitka for 20 plus years and have stayed at lodges in the past. This is the first year we've stayed in a private home rental. We were very pleased with the experience. The house was wonderful. Comfortable large bedrooms, a large living-dining area with a spectacular view of Sitka Sound. Our grandson stayed with his grandmother while the rest of the adults went fishing each day. He loved sitting in the window watching the boats, airplanes, buses and people go by the house all day. It was close enough to walk to town, so it wasn't necessary to rent a car. We would definitely love to stay at this home again on future trips.

This home is wonderful. We were two couples each with two children. The eight of us thoroughly enjoyed this rental and had plenty of room. For the price, we were a little surprised there were no 'extras'. We had to buy additional everything: ketchup, laundry soap, trash bags, body wash, etc. But what a great location. Right on the water, next to the Totem Trail, just down from the playground, and an easy walk to town.

The house was perfectly located close to town and attractions. Views were stunning and the grounds excellently maintained. Loved the "nook room" behind the fireplace and having a fire pit. The washer and dryer were a big plus since we had been traveling for a while. Everything was just lovely.

Great location.
We spent almost every minute that we were at the house watching the water, eagles, and sometimes the tourists walk by. The view and access to the water is fantastic.

What a gem of a property! The house was perfectly located walking distance to town and beach walks. The view is gorgeous and the house was spacious and clean. We used the fully stocked kitchen every night and if we had an extra evening would have had a bonfire at the fire pit. Thank you Ocean Vista. See you next summer.
