the place is gorgeous, the pool was nice and the property manager/owner was wonderful, considerate of our needs and moved us to another property. It was private and we wanted to make sure we cleaned it and left it like we got it, Thank you so much, I have not been well, this was very nice everyone in one place

I was hesitate on doing a review because I didn’t stay in the home listed it was last minute plumbing issue and I was offered a refund or to move to a 4 Br instead of 6 and honestly all or that was fine as the title of my review stated it ended well. That truly didn’t bother me because that’s life unforeseen circumstances that alter plans. What I would advise anyone to do before renting is read the rules all of them. The tone that I received from Jamie was unnecessary. I was already stressed trying to get my family in for my daughter graduation had a last minute change of 6 bedroom to 4 I was worried about Will there be enough room in the different house and Jamie tone honestly made me feel like I had not spent a dime to rent, it was although she was doing me a favor instead of me paying for a service. I read other reviews and I hope that who ever responds doesn’t come in to attack because all of my feedback was not positive. Daniel came in with great customer skills I provided what was needed the house was great the pool was great had everything we needed. Customer service with Jamie really needs work I was thankful that Daniel came into the thread and changed the tone. Overall my family and I had a great time good neighborhood one of the neighbors came over and gave my daughter a gift for graduation.

This place need remodeling. There is a mold smell and the bathrooms are awful. It is big and spacious place but a upgrade can do. There were stains on the toilet and the showers were not cleaned properly. I will not be booking this place ever again, I see why the pictures are short cut because the place is really old and smelly. On the last night stay I had a small get together because my family was exchanging Christmas presents and the owner sent me crazy messages and the ad clearly say family reunion are welcome and I only had 20 ppl there and he said it was 40. I am not happy at all and this place should not be on any booking site because of the home upkeep. The carpet are stained and the mold smell is disgusting and could make anyone sick so be aware of these reviews because they are real.

I have waited serveral days to write this so that I can put as much information as possible, as I read the reviews to help with making my decision. My group only stayed 3 hours (supposed to stay 9 days) and only stayed to try and figure out what to do. 1st: owner will tell you I didn't even stay...correct I had a family emergency and couldn't so I got the information from pictures and from the 11 that wanted to stay. 2nd, he will repeat over and over tht pictures don't lie. That may be why there is only 1 picture of the 4 bathrooms from far away and only of the pink tub. The showers, sinks, toilets, floors were discusting. Mold, mildew, scum. Owner said "acceptable, but no! We sent pictures. He did come out a day or so later and take the glass out of one shower and replace with a shower curtain. Didn't fix mold and mildew in the tile grout or the build up around the drains. Said the orange ring around the toilets and tile was glue and that the toilets were new...never seen orange, brown glue especially if the glue was new with new toilets. . Pictures also do not show the extremely stong mildew smell, infact one of our boys had to leave the house after bing in for a short time beause his asthma was acting up. There was a soft/mushy spot in one of the rooms and below a water mark in the ceiling. The carpet on the stairs looks original and REALLY needs to be replaced. Kitchen counters were sticky with food residue, bugs and again grout was an interesting gross color. bugs coming out from around dishwasher, some came out of faucet....of course he said he didn't see any of this. We sent pictures....Outside both doors the bees/wasp were all over, flying up into the roof or something, again he said he didn't see anything. I could say more but I think you get it. The group decided that there was nothing he could do to get them to stay, we even considered hiring a cleaning crew ourselves, but it was way more than just cleaning . We left with owner telling us we would NOT get our $6100.00 refund. We assumed (wrong) that VRBO would help us out and it was getting late and we had to try and find somewhere to go for 11 people. DO NOT ever think VRBO will support their customers. They leave the refund up to the owner....why would he give it back, He just pocketed 6k for nothing. Why would we leave if it was acceptable (thats what owner said, it is acceptable). If I could post pictures I would but I will on another site. Never again

The house is very spacious and allowed for my family, friends and I to take advantage of the property without feeling overcrowded. We were able to enjoy the pool and outdoor patio area based on the level of privacy that the house offers. The home is older but we had no issues with it during our stay. The hosts/owners were very responsive which allowed for us to book the property with confidence. We would stay here again!

We were renting this house while in town for a baseball tournament. This house was perfect for us. Plenty of beds for sleeping. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. It goes without saying that the Pool was a big hit with the Boys as well as the ping pong table. Hosts were easy to communicate with and made the stay extremely comfortable. Thank you! Spacious comfortable stay
The house is more is than roomy, well equipped. You'll feel at home the moment you walk in. The pictures are accurate. What makes this a great rental is the host. Communications were a breeze, promptly replied, and you can see their genuine desire to make you at home in their property via the details in how they stock up the house for your arrival. Thank you. Too much fun
We had the best time here. This house is a bit older and super unique. It turned out to be a great stay for the 16 of us. My husband found so many hiding places to jump out and scare people. I would for sure stay here again.

Great location
The property is located on the west side of Metro Atlanta and easily accessible from the airport without getting on the interstate. We love to cook and had two grocery stores within 5 minutes (Ingles and Publix), with Family Dollar and Dollar Tree close by. We were in Atlanta in 30 minutes with traffic. Restaurants and shopping are one and two exits west and Six Flags is 10 minutes east. The house has excellent wifi and pool... and tons of sleeping space. The owners were immediately responsive when we needed them. Highly recommend this listing.

Big house but needs a lot maintenance to be a rental house.
The house was plenty big for the size of my family. The swimming pool was great. I was disappointed in the up keep of this house maintenance. First there were no complete toilet paper holder assembly in all 4 bathrooms. Second both upstairs bathroom flush valves were leaking down and filling back up about every 4 mins. The down stairs hallway bathroom facet was leaking when you shut it off. The down stairs master bathroom sink is leaking under the sink and been leaking for awhile cause there was mold. Third there were furniture that was not completely broke but not in the best shape for a rental property. Fourth there were light bulbs missing in there sockets and lights bulbs burned out that were not replaced. Fifth open the door and the door handle came of in my hand. Also front door deadbolt missing the handle to lock or unlock it. Sixth kitchen cabins nailed shut for what ever reason. Some handles loose on cabins and drawers in the corner of the kitchen, you couldn’t open them all the way cause they would hit the handle on the other drawer. I will not rent this VRBO in the future because it did not meet my standards of renting a home. There is no comparison here for the homes I’ve rented from VBRO for the money I payed for in the pass.

HOME SWEET HOME
This house was built just for my huge jolly family. We were celebrating my son's graduation from Morehouse with HONORS, so we just HAD to live it up. & boy did we ever, thanks to The Gibson Home. Jamie was a thrill to work with. She clearly is a communicator , as I am as well. She was thorough and precise about her list of demands and prerequisites. It gave me a comforting feeling to know everything was on point and efficient from the start. Everything that was posted on the ad was accurate. All 20 of us had the time of our lives just relaxing. laughing , dancing, watching television , swimming in the pool and eating great home cooked meals. Everyone had plenty of space. There were bathrooms and showers galore! I can't stop singing the praises of how perfect this house was for our occasion. For me the swings on the front porch where the cherry on top. Living in Manhattan, New York City , I often hear sirens ,horns blowing ,people screaming , etc. Well- during my stay in Douglasville I heard birds chirping ,wind blowing in the leaves ,and countless hours of nothing but pure silence. Ahhhhhh. It was total bliss. Now. There was 1 situation with the friendly frogs in the neighborhood. Kermit & his friends wanted to take a swim in the pool with us. Within an hour of a phone call, someone was there thoroughly cleaning the pool and making sure we were able to swim frog free. The bar is huge and spacious w/ plenty of seating, just like the rest of the house. It ( to no surprise to me) was the focal point of our stay. The master bedroom was also a highlight. But no one felt slighted or cheated because each room had everything a traveler could ask for. We will CERTAINLY stay here again. Probably next year when my niece has her wedding.
