I had booked to go to the Automaton Il de Nantes and it was within walking distance so close. Ease of access to the city for trams and busses and trains. Great location , it was a little difficult to locate at first because of only one sign.

Shower pressure changed whilst in the shower to sudden cold then hot hot. Nothing else bothered us. The sofa bed was comfortable and did take up a lot of space but we were not in most of the time so nt a problem at all.

No blinds or solid curtains. In a VERY noisy location in the student quarter. Expensive for what it is. The building has two sides - one for students and the other for tourists. Initially, I chose the wrong side and the key didn't work. I phoned the property but just got an answering machine. A student helped me to find the right room but if I had had a genuine problem, the property wouldn't have helped.

Comfortable and spacious with a perfect location

I was very happy with the appartment. It was very clean, it was just in the pictures and it had a ton of light. It was very near to the tram 2, the one I had to take to go to the Campus 3 of the University, and I was able to go to the centre of Nantes walking 20 minutes just taking the bridge. I also was able to walk to the appartment and back from the airport shuttle, which was great. Also, there were several bars and residence halls nearby, so it was very lively, which is great for a person travelling alone like me.

There were all the amenities advertised, which was great, but there were no cleaning supplies (detergent for the dishwasher, a cleaning cloth to wipe out the kitchen after it is used, etc.), which was troublesome, as nobody is going to invest in cleaning supplies (that sometimes are quite expensive) just for an appartment were they are going to be just a few days. I made it do, but I would recommend the appartment to supply a little cleaning supplies to mantain the appartment completely clean during the clients' stays. Also, as I commented before, the appartment is in a lively part of the city. The noise is not usually a problem, as the appartment is very well insulated and you can't hear anything if the windows are closed, which is great. But if you go in summer, this is something to take into account, as you need to mantain the windows open at night, so if you go with kids and/or are a light sleeper, ask the appartment's management what can be done about this.
