The property was immaculately cleaned which we truly appreciated. It appeared to be recently remodeled with very nice touches. I only selected a less than perfect rating because we realized after arriving that we had a 3rd floor neighbor (l believed from the photos that we were on the top floor of the building) that walked very heavily which disturbed our sleep at times and whose plumbing (flushing toilets, etc.) we could always hear. This unit is on the 2nd floor. Also, I typically receive a welcome message with a contact number from our VRBO host upon arrival but we never heard from anyone except for the entry instructions. This was a minor concern as the host’s info, I saw a day later, was posted on the back of the door but I did not see this initially. Overall, this was a beautiful, spacious property and we enjoyed our stay. It’s in a great location of Old Town Alexandria where we were able to walk to restaurants, the waterfront, and some shopping. I would only not reconsider staying again because of the foot traffic above us on 3rd floor. If this unit could be moved to the top floor I would love to visit again.

The apartment was in a wonderful location. Minutes from the farmers market, cruises and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and was stocked with everything anyone would need.

This was an amazing stay. The unit was as promised and the owner was very quick to communicate with us when we asked questions. If you want a great location and a super clean space, this is it!

We had a great experience staying here. The place was immaculate with an easy check in process. It’s super close to King street and the free trolley that goes up and down King Street. We had fun exploring Old Town Alexandria, as well as Washington, DC. Location was super convenient and it was easy to grab dinner at night without needing to drive anywhere.

We booked a stay at this rental to celebrate our son’s engagement. However, when we arrived on 12/26/22 and tried to access the rental with the code we were provided for check-in…it wouldn’t work. We reached out to the owner who answered and said that there had been a booking error and the unit had not been cleaned. I asked if there were at least clean sheets and towels. She said there weren’t clean sheets and wasn’t sure about the towels. I asked her to call me because we were sitting in our rental car with a 1 1/2 year old and had traveled all day. Her response was as follows: “I am trying to find a solution with you but I am not available for a phone call at the moment. I have told you that I will issue a full refund and that the unit is vacant but dirty and will be cleaned tomorrow. Do you have other ideas regarding a solution?” I told her if she could being clean sheets and towels we could stay. But instead she cancelled our reservations and refunded our money and left us to find another place to stay. I have used VRBO for rentals for many years and have never had such a poor experience. I would not rent from this owner!!

We had a great stay during our visit! The place was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything one might need in a vacation rental. We also appreciated a very quick and easy checkout process. The location is awesome and free parking was great.

The location is perfect. One block from King Street and its multitude of shops, coffee bars and restaurants. The apartment was spotless, well stocked and extremely comfortable. Kim was kindly and patiently responsive to the issues we experienced, each of which was caused by our not thoroughly reading the instructions regarding entry and trash disposal. She is just terrific. What an incredible place to stay! We have enjoyed coming to Old Town Alexandria for years and couldn’t have been more pleased to have found this beautiful home to stay in. From the moment we arrived, the property was inviting and clean. The condo was exceptional from the spaciousness & cleanliness of the home to decor & furniture to creature comforts (dark towels for make-up removal, soft sheets & linens, plush bath towels, even a step stool to help our little one reach the bathroom sink) throughout the home. Kimberly was also a terrific host- being proactive before our arrival, ensuring we received updated instructions and directions for the parking garage. She was also very responsive and kind upon check-out. The condo is in walking distance to everything within Old Town - making its location another huge plus as one of the best places in town to stay. We hope to stay again in the future when travel plans bring us into town. You will not be disappointed staying here. Terrific experience, a home away from home!

Kimberly was the perfect hostess. She responded to every question immediately. Parking in the garage across the street with a key card was a plus. We parked our other vehicle in the lot on the corner (very convenient). This part of Old Town Alexandria was very quiet. We walked to dinner on the water both nights. It was ultra clean and super comfy (furnishings) and beds. We loved it. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

The perfect location for exploring the DC metro area while also enjoying the beauty of old town Alexandria. You could feel like a true local. The property was spotless with a modern vibe that still felt super comfortable.

They stay was nice but unit 301 could use curtains to block the sunlight glare on tv as well as privacy from other roof top buildings. Patio door uncovered a bit of an uncomfortable feeling. Our check out was very smooth until it became Accusatory about a missing parking pass. We took the train and had no need to use parking pass so we should not have been subjected to that rude questioning.

We stayed in this lovely two bedroom property on a recent visit to D.C. It was brand new, beautiful, and comfortable. Although we didn't cook the kitchen was very well equipped with anything you would need. The location was perfect- just steps from King Street and easy access to D.C. for sightseeing. Highly recommend it!
