The location of the hotel close to bars and restaurants and also the beach

There's a gap between the window and the wall and you can here conversations from the room next door

the rooms were interconnected and there was a massive gap between the wall and the window, therefor you could hear everything that the people in the next room were talking about. I could even here then snoring.

Near the beach, very clean, helpful freindly staff, no western options for breakfast

The rooms were lovely, we had a view and they were comfortable and spacious. The location was great for us.

The hotel was obviously just starting to open post covid and it felt a bit like we were the only ones there. The pool was cold and a bit cloudy (although they did come and deal with it once they noticed our kids in there). Breakfast the first day was just an egg, toast and fruit (not as advertised in photos of a buffet breakfast). The 2-3 day there was a limited budget which was much better. The front desk staff was very inconsistent, one lady was exceptional, the other 2 we dealt with seemed to be brand new and couldn't answer any of our questions (understandable with COVID)

The staff are nice and pleasant

There is no hot water in the early morning. Breakfast was Vietnamese every day. No milk, no butter, no cheese, no cereal, no yogurt. If you come late for breakfast, half of the dishes are gone.
