Great location. Across the street from Plaza de España. Short walk to the other tourist sites. 20 minute ride to airport. Booked the family room. Separate living room with pullout bed. Clean and breakfast was great, lots of choices. Overall great stay.

The hotel is nice but we chose it based on sauna and facilities (like indoor pool which is advertised on their website).
If you’re staying here for that, don’t. They are not open- just advertised as available. Apparently if you dig deep on hotel.com they specify that (they don’t on their website).
The manager was nice to have a chat with us and we got vip entry (the day before we left). Usually the price for this is 50-70€ and useful if you also wish to have breakfast. We had already paid for breakfast separately so was a bit of a waste as we couldn’t eat breakfast twice in the same morning.
It’s such a shame and misleading.
All in all, we ended up paying too much for a sauna and hot tub which wasn’t available +€75 to actually go to a proper sauna.
Ps: the manager said that the facilities wouldn’t actually be free as it’s a 3rd party who deals with that.

Great stay. Perfect hotel for visiting Sevilla. Everything in walking distance. Hotel staff, amenities including fantastic pool area are very good. Definitely recommended.

Rooms were dated and were not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived

I liked the morning buffet, the room, cleanliness, the pool the only thing I minded was waiting over half an hour to take the elevator to my room

Amazing property. Loved that it’s right across the street from Plaza de Espana. The pool area is wonderful! Highly recommend. Would stay here again!

Staff and employees were excellent. Location was excellent and walkable.

Nice hotel and a good location but I have never had such bad service. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes waiting for service and finally asked a waiter to help us and they scoffed and walked away. My wife and I immediately left and went to a restaurant outside of the hotel. On a positive the pool and view was nice

Great quality hotel, good food and drinks options and the pool area was fantastic. I would stay here again. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the downtown core, but close enough to walk in.

It was a poor experience for money: lifts were always busy, there was no space in pool area and wifi didn't work

The room was lovely, staff very helpful

Very good hotel, great service

Very nice hotel, the sheets on my bed smelled funky like when they are left on the washer for too long and they pick up an ugly smell. Other than that it was great and very clean. The bar at the pool could use more staff, it would take a long time to get food or drinks with just one person serving all the guests.

Great location for a resort style hotel. Short taxi ride to city centre.

Excellent Melia Hotel. Lives up to its reputation in service and accommodation. Only negative feedback would be no kettle, coffe or tea facilites in room compared to other 4 or 5 star hotels, otherwise exceptional.

Comfortable Stay with a Few Parking Issues
I recently stayed at Hotel Melia Sevilla with my family (4) wr booked two connected rooms. Overall, our experience was positive, with a few notable highlights and one significant downside.
The rooms were very nice—spacious and well-maintained. The air conditioning was particularly appreciated, especially given the hot weather during our stay. It worked perfectly, keeping the rooms comfortable and cool throughout our visit.
However, we encountered a major inconvenience regarding parking. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because Expedia indicated it had parking facilities, which was crucial since we were driving. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel had sold its parking lot and no longer offered any parking services. Instead, we were directed to a nearby parking garage around the corner, which cost 25 euros for 24 hours.
While the alternative parking was relatively close, it was an unexpected expense and inconvenience, particularly because we had selected the hotel based on the advertised parking availability. I strongly feel that this information should be updated on Expedia to prevent other guests from facing the same issue.
In summary, Hotel Melia Sevilla offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms that are ideal for families. However, prospective guests should be aware of the parking situation and plan accordingly. If the parking issue is resolved or clearly communicated, it would enhance the overall guest

The hotel is clean, with good facilities. Its location is ideal for exploring the city. A good choice for couples, families and business travel.

Excelent property and remarkable service. One of the best location in town!

In severe heat 99 degrees the air conditioner wasn’t working. Our room had to be changed 3 times. The temperature is controlled by hotel. Customer service was extremely poor. Wouldn’t stay here again! Also, the floor tiles in bathroom area are very slippery beware

Room not as described. No amenities on the room.. minimum should be a shower cap. The safe is for people who are no taller than a foot. No where to put your suitcases. It would be hard to give it 3 stars. Area around the hotel feels safe and not too far from major attractions. My Seville stay was nice thankfully we didn’t stay in the hotel room for too long.

Room small for the price paid. Bathroom sink took ages to drain and i am surprised that the cleaners did not notice it for the entire duration of stay of 5 days. Few coins left on the desk in the room whist gone to gym had disappeared on return.
Breakfast was great.

Close to the main highlights of the city (plaza de españa, parque de Maria Luisa, Cathedral de Sevilla and the Alcazar. Clean and spacious rooms with a great bed and bathroom .

I booked a flexible booking through expedia for 7 nights but when I checked in I realized that expedia price was astronomically higher than direct booking with the hotel and compared to other local hotels (3× price). As I paid extra for flexible booking (free cancellation up to 24 hrs before check in, or first night fees only after check in time), I contacted expedia to cancel my booking through them but I couldn't get help from customer service until day 5 of my stay despite me trying them daily but my request were only handled by virtual agent with promise to connect me to an agent once available!!! The hotel was not co-operative and refused to cancel my expedia booking and insisted I go through expedia and refused an early checkout and they insisted on charging the entire booking if I change. Expedia customer service was terrible and despite replying after 5 days, they were not apologetic, instead tried to blame it on me! They didn't try to help and blame the refusal of change on the hotel and tried to ignore that their help was delayed for 5 days! They didn't try to make it up for me although they knew I was very much disappointed. Expedia don't care for their customers and I would not recommend dealing with them for anyone! I hope they don't delete my review as I'm sure they won't like it but this is the truth.

Some of the facilities like the restaurants, lobby were very nice. Conference facilities need improving but conference food was good. Rooms hot as air conditioning could not keep up. No coffee making facility or other amenities like iron, washcloths, bathrobes, makeup remover pads, shower cap etc. seemed like they were cost cutting.Very noisy if neighbour turned on their TV. One man at reception very abrupt and unfriendly. Helps to have Spanish here. Our house cleaning lady very nice and thorough however. Swimming pool nice but limited service around it. Position next to parks is good, but hotel is a ways from the nearest shops like even a small convenience shop. Good coffee across the road in the morning. Really didn’t seem like a 4 star hotel to me.

This hotel was gorgeous! Very friendly staff and clean rooms.

Everthings are great.
Breakfast was good and room condition was great.
Minor things it should be improved are
Airconditioning was a little bit weak for hot weather and water pressure in shower room was also weak.

Great location, a few minutes walk to the plaza de espana. But the property itself wasn’t up to our expectation. The carpets throughout the hallways were stained. Plenty of doors had cracks. So the first impression was of a rundown shabby place. The room itself was decent but had a few issues- 1) The shower would get immediately clogged, so you’re always standing in a puddle. 2) The first night, there was a tiny bug crawling on the bed (seemed like a spider) - so we just moved it and didn’t really bother much since we were tired and it was late. 3) Finally, there are no outlets next to the bed so it’s not ideal for charging phones but wasn’t a big deal. The staff seemed nice. Overall, it was a below par experience.

We were expecting face washing towels, milk for coffee(there was no coffee 8n the room). The room was simply too small. We expected better room facilities e.g. iron board and iron, and a table and chairs instead if one sofa. We had to wait in turn to sit. I expected more facilities based on the price we paid. Otherwise, service was good, not exceptional.

Hotel was beautiful but tea/coffee in room would be nice.
