The staff here is absolutely amazing. I felt like I was transported back in time when the customer was king. I had to wait for nothing. The room was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable, and we slept the sleep of the dead it was so peaceful. The hotel was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and some of the best coffee. If you come to Genoa, you must stay here.

My husband and I were very happy with theBristol. Beautiful building, entry way and the room was gorgeous. The hotel is on the main street. Great location lots of shops, cafes. It is a bit noisy if you open the window. The AC works great. There are elevators.
Super friendly staff everyone speaks English too. the room shower is small so you get water everywhere when you shower !!And can be slippery too. Not too far from the Genoa airport.
I would stay here again.

This is a wonderful hotel, reminiscent of the old days. The service is exceptional. We were troubled by a constant sound coming from beneath our room of a machine going on and off on and off otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay in the center of Genoa.

Our room was very undistinguished, surprising given the price and stars. The bad news was that the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The good news was that the loudness of the unit obscured the sound of snoring from the neighboring room—pretty abysmal sound-proofing. Positives are that the hotel is very convenient to the old town and its many attractions, to some excellent restaurants and the Brignole train station.

Good location, with amenities befitting the class of hotel. Good service in all areas. I particularly enjoyed being served by Ivan the hotel barman, who prepared and served drinks and bistro food well, but also provided great company, sightseeing advice and local colour. Hotel main restaurant food was also pleasing. Only gripe is that my en suite bathroom was a bit cramped, but perhaps not true of all bathrooms

A classic five star hotel. Everything professionally done and a warm welcome. A great base for trips to Cinque Terre. Nice breakfast service and excellent dinner restaurant. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent, high end hotel located steps from Genova’s main piazza. Easy access to Vola bus and Brignole train station if you are relying on public transportation. Great hub for seeing the city sights. Extremely clean, quiet, super comfortable bed and very friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the bathroom had a mouldy smell. We had to kill some mosquitoes in the room. The air conditioner made a rattling sound if it was on any level, except the lowest one. When we told the hotel about this, they just said we should keep the air conditioning on low as there is nothing they could do. This meant the room was warmer than it should be. Supposedly we had Expedia’s gold VIP service at the hotel but they did not appear to be aware of it. On the positive side the room was large, the location excellent and the breakfast was good. This is not a hotel we would stay at again.

The beautiful decor with the very kind, welcoming and accommodating staff combined to result in an exceptionally pleasant stay. The beautifully and presented dining delicacies greatly exceeded our expectations. I would happily plan a visit to the area again for for the opportunity to enjoy another stay. Thank you.
