I love this hotel. Less than two minutes walk from the ferry that takes you to all other towns on Lake Como. It had a comfortable room with a small refrigerator, desk and Air conditioning. I had a terrace Overlooking the lake. Breakfast offered by the hotel was amazing - Great cappuccinos, yogurt and granola, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and incredible pastries.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Metropole Suisse, the location is the best; ferries accessible on the doorstep, the plaza in front has lots of nice bars and restaurants. We had a terrace view room, and the balcony had a beautiful view of the lake. Thanks!

I would highly recommend this hotel for future travel.

This hotel is rather dated. The beds were excessively hard and the room's extremely small. However, the location more than made up for it. the biggest issue we encountered was the limited parking onsite/ Nearby. We were required to park our car a 20 minute walk away.

Excellent central location on water and square. Excellent staff who got us last minute reservations and services. Across street from ferry and boats for hire. Great breakfast on the waterfront. Hotel a little old and outdated, but large rooms, clean, large modern bath.

Nicely maintained older hotel in the middle of everything Como. It is a bit noisy on the weekends as the hotel is right off a busy square with music and vendors that are open late. Parking for 25E daily available but otherwise a bit tricky.

Our bags were somehow misplaced at the beginning by the staff and took a bit of time to find them. But the breakfast was delicious with a variety of food.

The bed was hard and springy, the pillows were so low and thin. The air condition quality was low. I was shocked women lifted my heavy bags and i felt embarrassed. Overall i would stay in this hotel if it was a good price in future

Good location

This is the perfect location to access all that Como has to offer, it's close to the ferry to other places on lake Como. There is a myriad of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was helpful and polite. This was our second stay at this location and I recommend it.

This hotel was in the center of town, the perfect location! The property is well maintained and the rooms were very clean. The staff was amazing and friendly, patient with every guest ensuring all of the questions were answered, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Como.

Great location on the waterfront. Minutes from ferry terminal and easy walking access to town. Nice buffet breakfast with fresh fruits, breads, pastries, eggs etc. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Easy checkout. Only very minor wish is less hard pillows.

The Lakefront Property is a short walk to the ferry that can take you all over the lake! What was really special about this place was the amazing staff that helped us! We had some hiccups with the train coming to Como... several hiccups. Lorella was great about responding and reassuring us that our room would be waiting for us. She had went home but also communicated with her co-workers. When we got there we were celebrated for making it to the hotel. What a warm welcome. Alphen at the front desk was always eager to help us. He got us taxi's, and did his best to answer all our questions with a smile! Bernie helped with our unusual request to measure and weigh my 85 yr old mother's mobility scooter for "easy"jet's requirements. Their restaurant (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) recommended an amazing dinner for 2 that I shared with my cousin and him and another couple employees sang Happy Birthday to my mom and served her a warm chocolate cake that even though we were completely full we couldn't resist trying! Top to bottom this place was wonderful. If I was staying in Como again, I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Thank you all! :)

Interesting room arrangements; this is not a hotel per se, but a hostel-like environment. Very clean and well located. Walk to nearby restaurants and points of interest. Super stay for the price.

Great hotel!

The hotel exudes old charm and it has been renovated recently. The location is perfect, even though there was construction going on at the promenade.

Their service is exceptional, friendly, helpful. Rooms a bit dated but the location is right we’re you want to be in Como. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast gets you going until lunch. Great outdoor appertif/dinner patio.

Lovely property overlooking the lake in Como. You’re in the centre so expect it to be busier than the other lake towns. Restaurants, train stations, great walks and views nearby. Would recommend.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic and the property is well located for all lake travel by ferry, bus or train along with being central to Como old town Centre . A charming hotel in many ways
