Good location and very clean, only valet parking option. The room was kinda of small and low ceiling

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again. Staff are very friendly although there was a minor hiccup getting my credit card to work at check in. Room s compact but well appointed but our kettle did not work (no base provided). We rang the front desk and the matter was rectified with 10 minutes. No welcome gift or room upgrade offered.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Everything you need is walkable and in the area. Restaurant is decent. But again you can walk to any other restaurant. If I had to complain about something I’d say elevators make concerning noises to the point every guest in it would make a comment about it. Thanks.

The property was close to many amenities however very noisy from street, construction and dogs barking next door to us, most hotel staff were very friendly however just a few were very rude and that definitely left an impression, the restaurant downstairs was great, it was very difficult to get clean towels and we never received room service even though we took do not disturb sign off door. Unfortunately the bad out weighed the good in this case, some of the issues were beyond staff’s ability to resolve. The valet was awesome very friendly and attentive. Hotel rooms were very mediocre.

I did not like the confusion and charge for breakfast. One price for less food and another for more. I got all confused
which one was which. The hostess understood and did not charge me since I just left what I had taken on my plate.We had breakfast the next day at another location in Victoria.

The room was clean , and had all amenities as mentioned on the website . The only issue I had was to take a shower it took nearly 5-10 minutes both days I was there to get hot water in the shower .

This is the second time to stay at the Doubletree in Victoria this year. It's a great location, the room is comfortable, clean, and the staff friendly. We were able to check our bags before and after checkin and checkout, which was so helpful and uncomplicated to do.

This suite is one best hotel rooms I've ever booked
Also the most expensive. The view was phenomenal. We could see all across the city, even as far as Washington state and at night with the civic buildings lit up it was breathtaking. Unfortunately that view will be obliterated by a new building going up which also created construction noise for us.

The common areas are very worn. The room was small. For the price, I would expect a lot better. The gym was tiny and crammed. The water in my shower smelled bad. I was not impressed at all and would never stay here again.

Had shower flood incident, the issue was not looked at by the hotel technician during the stay, house keeping used the towels to clean up the water. Had to to use towels to build a dam to prevent further flooding.

The hotel was excellent. We had a large suite for the 5 people in my group. Very clean and well maintained. And the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Special mention to Janeth who gave us an early check in and to Winona who helped with dinner and sightseeing recommendations, thanks to both of them!

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Easy to walk to lots of restaurants and attractions. Bus stops close by for the trip to Butchart Gardens. Only $5 per person round-trip (plus the cost of getting into the gardens). Restaurant on-site was really good and convenient too.

The staff was friendly and very helpful in seeing our car up to charge. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Perhaps the only thing I wish were different would be breakfast being included with the price of the room.

location wise speaking, it is good. But nothing is included in the price (parking, breakfast, etc.), even no bottle water in the room - after checking in, I already asked the staff. They asked my room number and then confirmed it was correct (no bottle water is included), which was very strange. I wrote this in the check-in feeling via Expedia and I got 4 bottle waters the next day. But no refill in any of the coming days that I stayed.
When I checked out, the staff asked how my stay was and I said it was basically good but somehow strange. He said it was because I booked the hotel via a 3rd party's app and they would encourage clients to book via their own app like most of other brands. But honestly don't think it was the reason - I could understand that there’s no point / night could be gained from their membership programme if booking from a 3rd party's app, but not bottle water.
