The staff was friendly, especially Amanda, the morning desk clerk. Our room was sub-par (being generous). There was no smoke detector in the room, just a base and the wires hanging out of the wall. When we mentioned this in the morning, we were told that the room was not supposed to be rented until the smoke detector was replaced. There was a fire sprinkler in the room, however it was missing the outer escutcheon (cover plate). The wash cloths were disgustingly filthy and should have been thrown in the trash. My wife thought I had wiped greasy hands on them. The closet shelf looked like it was pulled off the wall and reinstalled, crooked, without patching the old holes. The bathroom door looked like a dog tried to chew its way out. The carpets were in poor condition and badly stained. The beds and the rest of the room were clean. The paint job looked like a group of kids were hired to paint the room (I can't believe a professional could have done that bad of a job and expected to get paid) The hotel looks like it was a fantastic building at one point. It is in bad repair and it shows. The pool and exercise room were out of service during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was well below expectations. There was cereal and milk (a plus). There was bread for toast with grape jelly, but no butter or margarine. There were plain donut holes (very dry). There was a waffle machine to make waffles and syrup for them (another plus). Dirty and out dated

The clothes dry was so cheap it didn't dry our clothes. Skimpy breakfast that served room temperature juice. Got a belly ache from the orange juice. Pool & fitness room closed. It appears that the owner is such a cheapskate they cut corners. It appears that our room has only been cleaned in a very superficial way. Toilet bowl filthy, red bedspread soiled, dirty table, strong pet odor.

The property was very average and we didn't pay a high price for it, so were not that disappointed. The room itself was large and clean. But...the elevator was dirty, floor was sticky in the morning like someone had spilled juice, and the continental breakfast was pretty awful--very little available, and the person at the desk had to be called over by another patron to fill the waffle batter (and do something else?)--it just should have been monitored more carefully. The pool that was advertised was also closed during the whole time of our stay. So...no more than average.

It was horrible you have to pay for ice

The property was not the most updated. I would have liked more outlets available in the room and a more robust breakfast but I feel the price reflected these things. For a couple on a road trip stopping to sleep and move on, it was perfect.

Place was a wreck, pool is still closed for COVID lmao, room was disgusting. I would show pics of all the nasty stains on the floor in my room but it's not letting me upload them. I got charged $275 for a $75 room cause they doubled the deposit and actually charged me for both. Don't make the same mistake as I did... For the love of God stay somewhere else please!!!!

Nothing was good about this experience. I wouldnt recommend staying here at all.

They are false advertising they say they have a pool it’s been out of order for two years they also say they have a fitness center that too has been out of order for about 2 years. They say they have a business center that has also is locked and unavailable. The perks they say the property has such as pool and business center which attracts people they in fact do not offer

The property was disgustingly dirty and the area was terrible. Was completely run down.

Room was not good at all. Bathroom door was nasty needs to be replaced. Bed was lumpy and the breakfast was horrible. Cereal was stale. This hotel needs to be updated badly. Room was missing a face towel in the room and no lotion or conditioner. Bad room.

I booked a room with 2 beds when we got there she said we do not have that room. I said well I booked a 2 bed suite. She said not her problem because we booked on Expedia. It also said Breakfast. That consisted of stale doughnuts cold cereal and one waffle maker. Not compatible to other hotels that we have stayed at.

Honestly I booked because the pictures in their ads looked alright. I got there and the front desk gal was decent. I had no clue I’d be charged a 100 dollar incidental fee so that took me off guard. The hotel itself looks like it needs to be severely renovated. I stay at dozens of hotels each year because I travel constantly for cons throughout the Midwest. This hotel was by far the worst I have stayed at. Breakfast was horrible and had to go out and buy our own. Pool is not in service and neither is the gym. The room I booked was not available and we had to cram ourselves into a two bedroom room instead of a three bedroom. The room felt humid and musty with an odd odor to it. We only got two towels for the four other people staying with me. The sink was broken as well. We slept there one night out of the two and decided to leave and go to another hotel. While we waited to check out there were two customers that had issues with their rooms and got into an argument with the front desk lady. I had to wait to check out since the cops had been called and the guests and front desk lady argued until the cops arrived. I eventually checked out after the owner arrived and even then the owner was rude to me as well. Even as I left another customer had come down to complain about their room. I will NOT be spending the night here again. The location was decent but never again will I ever stay at this hotel. Horrible customer service, breakfast, and room. 0/10 for me.

The evening front desk person did not know how to handle the e fact that they did not have the room available that we had reserved and paid for. Not sure what they’re allowed to do but offering two rooms since they didn’t have the right room would have been a quick fix. She also didn’t have the authority to refund our money so we have to wait until Monday. Expedia customer care did a great job and was very responsive. We needed rebooking for two rooms. Cheaper too. Hotel is not well cared for or cleaned unfortunately. Convenient location for our road trip but would not return. Morning desk staff was very pleasant.

First the pool and hot tub we closed for maintenance and they said it was closed over a year, but they still have all the pictures of a great looking pool in there ad And that was the determining factor of us booking the rooms.. Breakfast was a huge letdown also. All they had was plain donut holes a waffle iron and cereal. they have a microwave and toaster but don't know why, so we went across the street and had to buy breakfast. Also was at check out and asked for a bathroom and they sent me around the corner but both bathrooms had out of order signs.

The shower curtain was hanging nearly hanging by two screws, carpet needs replacing, tv was horrible, breakfast was beyond terrible, and the phone didn’t work

This property does not look like it does in the pictures and it is disgustingly dirty. We checked in and felt weird about it from the start with metal pieces laying on the floor and the pool was closed. Paid the outrageous deposit even though my gut feeling was bad. Got into the elevator and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Visible inches of dirt in the cracks of the doorway. Got into our room and the carpet was rolled up in some spots (like disconnected to the floor underneath). There was damage to some of the walls and lampshades where barely hanging on sideways. There was damage to the bathroom door where there must have been a mirror in the past. We didn’t even unpack or touch anything. I was afraid we would get charged for the damage already done to the room. So, we went back down to the counter and told them that we were not staying there because it was dirty and unsafe. She tried to offer another room but we picked one of the higher end rooms to begin with so we knew a different room was going to be the same way. She was able to refund the deposit but not the room because we purchased the room though Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said they would call the hotel and see if we could be refunded. A few days later Expedia emailed me and said there was nothing they could do since the hotel has a strict cancellation policy. Don’t stay here! It is a scam and it doesn’t matter if your safety is on the line! They will not refund you!

I enjoyed the staff. She was very friendly. The one that checked me in the air didn’t get very cool in there so it was kind of stuffy and I ended up having a bloody nose. I don’t know if there was mold in the room that was under paint or what but or maybe the air filter needs to be changed I did love the fridge raider freezer. That was a great bonus because I left my water ice cold. I was really disappointed in the breakfast. I thought there might’ve been some fresh fruit or yogurt, but it was just waffles, toast cereal, Coffee, orange juice and apple juice. Also my TV was not clear. It was fuzzy looking so I didn’t watch TV. I’m glad I brought my iPad. I’m not sure if I’ll stay here again or not.
