Convenient location, easy to get to points of interest from the hotel. The staff were attentive and helpful and the rooms were really well maintained. Comfy beds, wifi, a tv remote that actually worked. Another rarity, free parking, which most hotels have done away with. Will stay here again.

Lisa is such a sweetheart. She was able to check us in early and did everything she could to get us a garden room like
How we booked. However due to circumstances we took the balcony room facing the pool. She made sure that our stay was beyond pleasant.
On a separate occasion, I had booked by accident to check in the next day so she wrote in her notes to fully refund that reservation & helped us create a new reservation on the spot. With her help she checked us in that night & we were refunded for the wrong night that we had booked. Thank you for being the best! Treat Lisa kindly, we deserves the very best

The Newark Doubletree Inn is VERY nice. Friendly staff, Restaurant meals very tasty, great quality of food And reasonably priced. E ordered the Caesar Salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Pasta Alfredo with chicken. I really enjoyed the wider noodles they used - was Very tasty !!

When checking we encountered a service clerk that was either tired, overwhelmed or just plain not happy. Did not expect any small talk just a simple smile would have been sufficient. Then she asked if I wanted any cookies, but still no feeling of actually welcoming. Cleanliness of the room was not up to par either. Bathroom did not look tidy. Good thing we brought disinfectant wipes to wipe down areas. Hotel should be checking toilet areas closely. We should not have to tell the hotel these issues. Called for a box of Kleenex , a roll of toilet paper & extra towels. The Careline clerk stated since there were only 2 beds in the room we only get 2 towels. Where’s the logic to that? There were 3 people registered in the room. Will need to think hard if we stay @ this hotel the next time.

We checked in at 3 PM and requested to have rooms near our friends. We were put on the 5th floor, ten rooms apart. TV did not work.

This Doubletree has two sections. The three-story “annex”, where our room is attached and east of the main tower. Our room was located in this “Annex”, which is certainly older (or appears that way) than the tower-portion of this property. However, the staff does their best to keep it in good shape.
Our 3rd floor room was clean as well as the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Shower worked well, but the bathroom faucet’s water pressure, oddly, was low.
The most interesting part of our room was our “garden view”. We had a lovely west-facing balcony with two patio chairs, overlooking the concrete roof of this “Annex” building. Still trying to figure out where the “garden view” was located! 😂
No biggie…enjoyed our stay. Also, easy walk across the street to Starbucks, FYI.

Property was very clean and appealing. The front desk clerk was nice and handled my check in well, except she didn’t seem to know how to give me directions to my room. She directed me to the wrong elevator and wrong section of the building. When I returned to the desk, she did ask a bellman to assist me in finding the room. It was in the other direction. He took me half way there and pointed in the general direction. I understand they were busy with a major event, but getting to my room is important.

Hotel wonderful! However, the guest on the rooms next to ours were super loud , opening and closing doors late after 11 pm and by 5:30 am same thing - they all hanging out outside in the hallway super loud chatting

We stayed at the property for 2 nights. The room was nice and neat. The staff both at the Hotel and bistro were very unfriendly, nonchalant and even a little condescending at times. The restaurant staff didnt' even like me and my kid sitting at a table far from buffet before buying the buffet. Even after we bought the buffet didn't really treat us right (at least felt that way could be wrong). This left a bad taste with the hotel overall.

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for like 10 minutes. There was no real issue just a screaming fire alarm. After police cleared the lobby of the hotel they turned it off. Front desk was like, “sorry false alarm.” No offer of compensation or explanation. I never did go back to sleep.

We had an awesome stay for a night right after The Rolling Stones concert at Levi stadium. Very convenient location only 10-15 min drive from the venue. Easy and quick check in process with outstanding, professional and very friendly personnel. We were greeted with warm freshly baked cookies and bottled water. Our room was conveniently located on ground floor with a lovely patio and direct access to a cute garden and a pond with ducks, perfect four our little one and our puppy. We enjoyed late check out at the pool and spa on the next morning.
