The hotel is very nice and very clean. Employee checking us in didn't seem to know what he was doing and our room was not ready, which was frustrating. Room and bathroom were beautiful but shower heads were lacking and the tile floor got very slippery and, therefore, dangerous.

Check time was to be 4:00 P.M.. We arrived at 3:45. Our room was not ready for check until after 5:00 P.M.. There was no effort to compensate my party for this inconvience

Hotel property itself was beautiful. Wonderful location relative to restaurants and where we were headed. Parking was a mess, but the valet was only slightly more than self-park and the valet workers were great! Great hotel if you're in downtown Cleveland.

Arrived at 3:15. Was told room was not ready, q5 minutes. An hour and a half later i demanded to speak with a manager. The event we were attending started at 7pm. It was after 5 when we go in room. Did not have time to have a dinner. Also, the threes times i check on availability (twice in person, once via phone) of my room, knowing the $591 fee was already completed the transaction, i spoke with a polite young man when a mouthy desk clerk,Ryan, said (when i asked about the wait) said "you and everbody else."
The manager did get us our room. Told us to get a drink at the bar.(i and my grandson dont drink). I asked for parking to be compted.

I have come to this hotel twice a year for about 8 years. It's a treat. But this was worst experience ever.
I had worked 13 hours the night before, hadn't sowered, slept 1 hour, drove 4 and a half hours from Ashland, Ky, and made to wait over an hour and a half.
I have a non refundable, (already paid for) through Hotels.com, in October and would like to cancel reservation.
This experance has ruined what we have always found as a great experience.

Check in was seamless. Front desk team members were friendly and helpful. Amenities at the hotel were top notch. Would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Property was absolutely beautiful. Room was nice and big with an amazing bathroom. The only thing bad about the property was thenparking garage. Spaces were so small could barely get your vehicle in and hard to get out of once parked. If you have a bigger vehicle no way. Also didnt like that you spend the money on your room and then it costs you $45 for the parking garage.

We enjoyed our time at your property. We a couple issues like no hot water on our last day but the hotel comp us half off the room rate which was very nice, the other issue was I had housekeeping one day and I was not expressed, the toliet paper roll was empty and a new roll was not put on nor was a new roll left in the room, the waste baskets were empty but not put back where they got them from just left them by the closet and the bathroom door, wash cloths that were used were removed from room however no new wash cloths were left in room.

Recently refurbished to quite a high standard. This is an old historic hotel and the remodeling has been done in keeping with its traditional roots. The bedrooms and common areas were a little dark for my taste but overall just fine. The common areas are nicely maintained and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is no restaurant for dinner but it does serve a great breakfast. We never tried lunch. Dinner is in the bar area but good food even though restricted menu.
My big complaint with the hotel is the housekeeping. ( my friend had the same issue with his room ). The bed was poorly made, wet towels were left on the floor, the conditioner bottle in the shower never got refilled despite specifically asking. Used glasses were left for two days and then when taken were not replaced. I asked for feather pillows and these were 'dumped' on the bed in a plastic bag and smelt awful. None of this majorly impacted the stay but it was a big missing in what otherwise was really first class visit to a great hotel.

Stayed for a conference. They are undergoing renovations. My room I believe was recently renovated and was comfortable and spacious. Hotel restaurant was yummy.

The place is very nice. The room very nice. The comforters the bed though had old makeup on it and stains. Said something about it to the front desk and she was not too worried about it. Kinda sad that it was not cleaned properly. Kinda takes away the energy of the place.

What stay!? I booked this room on Expedia and when I arrived two hours later the room was being processed. I was certainly charged right away for the stay. I could have waited around until 1:30 AM for it to be done processing…and paid $260 for 6 hours. I chose to leave and I’m now fighting for a refund.
Who’s to blame? No one is taking responsibility.

Hotel water hot shut off. They had sent out an email but too late to cancel, credit card already was charge. Not working elevator/escalator from the parking lot and had to carry heavy suitcase/luggage and bags up and down stairs. Property won’t compensate for the trouble.

This property is under construction. It costs $40 to park here per night. The elevators in the parking garage are out of order. You have to carry your luggage down a very steep flight of stairs to get to the street level to check in. I wish I would have known this ahead of time. I would have not stayed here.

51 years old, and was the Worst Renaissance Ive ever stayed out. Floors were disgusting, stained, Three shades lighter under dresser. Elevators, disgusting. Construction & dirt everywhere. Bathroom disgusting dirt in all corners. Smelled like homeless people with pine-sol poured on top of them. Way way way overrated. Should be 1 star. Motel 6 in columbus ohio, 100 times better. Will never ever ever stay there again. worst ever & i never write reviews but I was disgusted especially for $300 a night. What a huge disappointment for wedding anniversary

We love staying here. It's connected to the Jack Casino so we don't have to go outside to enter. Not very safe around the casino. It's getting to be very expensive to stay there tho. The price was almost 3X's the amount from our last stay. And it's not a 5 star hotel by far.

HOrrible experience DO NOT stay here it's under full renovation - drilling and fire alarms and extreme noise began at 7am waking me up - then fire alarms half hour later - NOT what was advertised on Expedia. In fact, Expedia pointed out to me that HIDDEN under "policies" is the note the entire property is under reconstruction. Room was also dirty, dusty, gross in spots. None of this was told to me when I checked. This property is currently false advertising itself as a 4-star hotel on Expedia. The property and experience as less than a 1-star hotel.
