Our room was ready early and was quiet, comfortable and updated.

It was an okay experience, nothing great for the cost. Asked for housekeeping on the 2nd day and nobody came. Had to track down a maid in the hall for fresh towels. For the cost of the “luxury” room it was nothing special.

Would’ve been a five star review, but I hate when the soap pumps in the showers are not semi full, or even worse than my case empty. I’m sure I could’ve called and they would’ve brought it up, but I was traveling for business and tired so I just used the probably more expensive shampoo for my whole body. The second night I was there. I took the soap dispenser off the wall hinting they needed to refill it but it was just ignored. Other than that it’s perfectly fine and I’m sure you probably aren’t gonna experience this problem.

Ok hotel. It’s surfing a bit on the Fairmont brand and it is fair to say that it hasn’t been maintained and updated recently.
Plus : close to everything, great location and very pleasant bar in the lobby.
Minus: old rooms, connection to TV with our own devices requires to add an app that requires a $plan, hot water wasn’t functioning the night of our arrival + air dryer was out of order. Not convenient for our preparation to an event. We called for a replacement… which arrived sometimes after we left (more than 30 min after our call). They could definitely do better.

Great location close to everything downtown, easy train transportation across the street to get to and from the airport, great gym facilities, wonderful restaurants, Christmas decorations that are a tourist attraction, fantastic service always.

We are repeat visitors to the Royal York and as usual we’re not disappointed. We were fortunate to arrive same day as the tree lighting and holiday kick off festivities. The hotel was a Christmas wonderland and the decorations all very tastefully designed. The room very comfortable and clean, we always feel safe. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub area and again very clean. We enjoyed the lobby bar to enjoy a few cocktails before the hockey game. The location is perfect, close to many amenities and Union Station across the road

We love the Fairmont. Close to everywhere we needed to be. The building is gorgeous and the staff is always super helpful. The Christmas decor this trip was incredible.

It’s in a great location, the staff were friendly and the lobby was cool. But the room was dated. No headboard, water was leaking through the corridor. I had water leaking in my bathroom light. And the bedding was two sheets wrapped around a duvet which I struggled to sleep in. Shame as I expected more from this grand place

We had a super time staying at the Fairmont. The room was large and kept clean everyday.
It might be slightly expensive but it was well worth the difference.

We came to Toronto for a weekend getaway and concert at Scotiabank. We were pleasantly surprised to be across the street from Union station for transportation and also included an indoor walk through to the arena. The hotel was beautiful with 3 cocktail bars. Every employee was helpful and professional.

I loved my stay at fairmont, it was beautiful, the restaurant was excellent, the spa was super relaxing, getting my makeup done in the spa wasn't a completely good experience for me when the lady started brushing my eye ball with the makeup brush. The wall in the shower was a little slimy but over all was a good and comfortable stqy

The room was SO tired, must be the 90’s when last refurbed, the public areas are better as you’d expect. Not worth the money for the lumpy bed and ancient decor.

The first room they put us in was a disaster- mold in tub, peeling wallpaper, broken luggage rack, curdled cream for coffee. Obviously this room should have been taken out of service. The next morning we complained and were told they were so sorry and would move our thing to another room if we would pack ourselves up. We did and were told when we came back that night the bags would be waiting for us. The room they moved us to was even worse! We went down to complain and were told the hotel was sold out but if we would pack ourselves up in the morning they would put us in a different room. The cost to stay here is very high. We asked how they could justify such high prices with such disrepair and the manager told us quote” we have such a beautiful lobby” save your money and sanity stay somewhere else

The entire trip was amazing!! From the front staff upgrading our room, noticing there were only two of us and wishing us a comfortable stay. The room was so spacious and comfortable, deserved 5 stars. Will definitely be coming back!

I am not impressed. Some of the old suites are very old and have uncomfortable noisy beds. Unless I get moved to newly renovated suites, I will never stay at Fairmont.

Would have been perfect had the remote actually worked and had we not had an exceptionally loud group on our floor, including someone sitting outside our room on a call on speaker at full blast at 2 in the morning! 😩😩

Really enjoy staying at the Royal York. Convenient location. Love the history of the place. Had a great breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby. Amy was our server and she was excellent. Very relaxing pleasant stay. Love the health club facilities also.

The Fairmont is a grand hotel. The check-in staff was helpful and got me into a room right away. Throughout the hotel I was asked how my stay was going.
I was in town for a conference, and the ballroom space was gorgeous and the staff was kind.
I slept well and the bathroom was perfect.

Good afternoon! We stayed at the Fairmont from October 4th to October 9th. The amounts of 510.52 and 73.94 Canadian dollars were charged to our Mastercard card with the ending number 0542. I would like to know what these charges were for since I did not receive any receipt detailing these amounts. All the daily rates had already been paid. I already sent a message via hotels.com and I haven't received any response!!!

The room was small. There was excessive noise from people partying up and down the hallways until 4am. The room service breakfast food was awful and expensive. I have stayed at many other fairmont properties and never experienced these problems. I am never staying here again.

10/10, excellent experience! Staff were wonderful and friendly. The hotel was within walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. Beautiful pool, too! Definitely going back.

The incheck was fast and the person who did the incheck was really friendly. Anyhow the amount of the stay wasn't worth. The hotelroom weren't that special. So basically what i have concluded is the person pays for the location and not for the premium hotel like what Fairmont Royal York mention.
