Very disappointing with the condition of the hotel. For the price you are paying it is only for the beach front not for the hotel. We will not be coming back. When you expect a clean and decent place to stay and arrive to only one elevator working, old carpet, leaky bathroom sink and rust in the tub, old furniture and rusty dirty balcony it just makes your vacation a lot less enjoyable.

This is an older property but very well maintained. My room had an outdoor balcony overlooking the beach. There was direct beach access just a few feet from the hotel. The breakfast was not extensive but hot and good.

I did not like the fact that there was only 1 elevator working with a fully booked hotel.

The room was neat and clean but the whole place needed repairs elevator didn't work. the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and nice. The breakfast was well done and good. The views were amazing! over all a wonderful place to stay for a night or 2.

It's an older property but the rooms have been updated. The hotel was built on a diagonal on the beach so the views are amazing. Loved the hit breakfast. The beach is steps away and its beautiful. Saw lots of dolphins and surfers at sunrise. I will definitely be back !

Great stay! Hotel is a little weathered, but that’s to be expected on the OBX! Friendly and helpful staff. All our needs were met. Breakfast was great! BEAUTIFUL AND EXCEPTIONAL VIEWS!!!! Will definitely return - with our dog, as this place is incredibly pet-friendly!!!

The location was incredible right on the beach beautiful views. Breakfast was good. Fast elevators.
The room was adequate and dated. The door locking mechanism was rusted and missing screws, half the time it wouldn’t open even though the electronic lock would disengage.

It was a well kept hotel. Good breakfast, seaside location, nice pool, friendly, helpful staff. It was everything I was looking for. This is a great budget place to stay.

Kind of outdated, the beds were a bit smaller than what i usually expect at hotels, but thats okay. The rooms are clean, but did have a smell to them, (most beach hotels do) sprayed some febreeze which hid it until I left. The staff was very kind and efficient. Parking was easy and i have a largr vehicle.

The hotel was beyond what we expected. Pet friendly, great parking, nice staff, clean room, delicious free breakfast, beautiful deck and pool, amazing beach access, perfect beach, wonderful ocean view, convenient location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation to the Outer Banks.

I love to stay at Comfort Inn South. Front desk Staff is professional and always available to answer questions. Clean all around hotel. Comfy beds and linens in rooms. House keeping very nice and helpful. The whole staff is nice. Parking area is nice. Breakfast is good everyday. Love the deck, swiming pool , shower and access to beach. Great restaurants and activities to explore. Love it there!! Thanks!!!

Comfort Inn South has been a favorite for its location on the beach & close to Jeanette’s Pier & restaurants. It’s very clean & everyone was friendly & helpful.

Hotel did not have my reservation in their system when I checked in and I had to wait 40 minutes to sort this out. Pillows about half the size of a normal twin pillow.

The overall was wonderful!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming!! The air conditioning was not working the first night but when I let them know the next day, it wasn’t 2 hours until they put another one in! Our next night was nice!! Would recommend you to my friends and family!!

Loved the direct access to the beach, ocean front room with an open air balcony. Hot breakfast was a plus. Staff was excellent and pro-active addressing our needs. Had an issue with our commode and maintenance fixed it immediately. Easy driving distance to restaurants and attractions.

I will NEVER!! Stay at this comfort inn again. There was rust all over the drain- the bottom of the tub was super rough grit for non slip. I had to wipe the bathroom down when we got there because it was gross.The guy that checked us in completely screwed up our reservation, the manager the next morning wouldn’t do anything about my issues but offer new washcloths. The lady named Kenya and another lady that was there the first day to double check and make sure we were okay and they had record of my reservation—- they were AMAZING!!! Beautiful view from the deck though.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views of the ocean and the sound were incredible. The room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great. Coffee and tea was available at all times in the lobby. Staff was courteous and helpful. The Sun deck was very nice. We would definitely return on our next visit to Nags Head.

This hotel was very close to the start of the Outer Banks National Park where we spent the two days in the area. It was clean and had good parking. Although we thought we had an ocean front room, it really overlooked the pool with the ocean beyond. The pool was a bit noisy at times. And the mattress was definitely not the best. But we would likely have stayed there anyway, if we had known those things.
