The view of the mountains and village amazing!

Great Location

Very family friendly! Wonder views of lake and mountains from our room/ balcony. Close to shopping. Nice pool area. Food was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating would definitely stay here again!

The location is great. The staff at the front desk is so knowledgeable and willing to help. We enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant. The dinner is a bit pricey though.

Property had the most amazing views of the mountains and Mirror Lake. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Elevators seemed to have issues while we were there but it’s an older hotel so wasn’t too surprised. Hotel restaurants were great and service was wonderful. Will definitely book here again as we frequent the area a lot.

This was a beautiful hotel. Everything was just wonderful. Lovely grounds & beautiful places to sit & enjoy an evening or eraly cup of coffee

Best view of Mirror Lake and the mountains in all of Lake Placid from the front of the Crowne Plaza. Easy 10 min walk to Main Street where there are multiple restaurants and shops. Didn't use but bonus the hotel has a private beach and various watercraft to use as a guest. Opt for a lake view room wonderful to look at! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Only disappointment our Keurig coffee machine was broken we were in room 123.

Amazing the property the area and the whole environment . If they can increase their vegetarian menu to accommodate a desi palate it would be even more good

The hotel itself is great and family orientated but the room was not the greatest. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t up to par. The views were great, was at the top of a hill which was fairly steep to walk up and down. Pool was nice, small hot tub though. Overall, I would recommend but have low expectations for room.

Great views of Mirror Lake outside the front door and from the restaurant. Pool area was very nice with lots of space for chaperones to sit and watch. Breakfast buffet (fee) was good and included eggs your way. They have a small private beach with kayaks.

This hotel was a beautiful spot overlooking mirror lake. The hotel pool was great and clean for our kids to swim in.

The hotel is older but it's in a nice location up on a hill. It's quiet if that is what you are looking for but pool, outdoor firepit, restaurant shuts down early- maybe to keep nights quiet? No safes in room though, older louder airconditioners, tricky parking lot but did feel like a safe property at night/security-wise. Unfortunately 2 staff members were incredibly rude to me & we will not be staying at a Crowne Plaza/IHG hotel again because of it. Don't think we will be using Expedia again because of the fact you have to prepay your entire vacation ahead of time and it makes it difficult to leave/cancel when a situation like this happens.

We can’t wait to come back again.

I recommend you upgrade to a room with the lake view...just fantastic and inspiring.

All good except that room 401 near noisy elevator all night. Too tired to try to switch rooms late at night. Mentioned it to front deck but they did not even offer a free donut. Nevertheless crown plaza at lake placid is good at all criteria.

Good location.

We have a good time stayed in this hotel. Beautiful property and easy access to walk around. Room was spacious and there is outdoor seating. The swimming pool was very nice with hot tub. My family and I very satisfied with this hotel. I just need the staff to add my points for my IHG, the front desk said they won’t be able to do because I was doing my reservation through expedia. I hope the manager can help me to resolve this problem. Overall I give 10/10!!

Nice hotel with a grate view to mirror lake

The view from our room was great! Our morning coffee on the balcony watching the sun rise was great! Lots of spiders on the balcony though. The room was “mostly” clean, the bathroom had some squashed bugs on the walls. The jetted tub was clean and worked great. Nice big shower as well. The location was nice walking distance to everything but you definitely need to be prepared for the walk back up hill. Most of the vending machines were broken so it can be a bit of a walk depending on your room location to get a snack in the middle of the night. Had a very drunk person yelling in the middle of the night that was a bit rude, not the hotels fault. Also the power went out at some point in the middle of the night so good thing I wasn’t relying on the alarm clock, but with that it reset the AC unit so the room got very warm. Overall it was a nice experience but a bit expensive.

Place was great perfect spot

Great location with amazing views of Mirror Lake. Comfotable outdoor area with chairs and a fire pit. Nice indoor area for dining. Decent menu, wines could be more exciting. Cayaking is an option also at no charge. The hotel is higher end in rates but the overall amenities need an update. Out of 4 elevators only 1 was working, the furniture needs updating, and the rooms, hallways need updating. Overall great experience.
