Perfect size room for our family, really comfortable beds and great amenities.

A good hotel for a vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Hertige. Room was spacious. We had a mountain view and could see snow. Staff were excellent and Friendly. The Heated Spa/hot tub and Sauna were excellent. It was an easy walk into town however a bit harder on the way back as there is a steep hill for the last bit. There is bus stop directly out side the Hotel. Enjoyed having a drink by the fires.

Lovely 2 night stay, had the 2 bedroom suite (connected rooms). Staff were absolutely lovely. Our kids made use of the pool and spa during our stay. Nice and close to city centre and parking was really good and very close to our room. Would definitely stay again.

Horrible, cold room. Don’t stay here unless you want to freeze. Nothing good about this old hotel. I paid for 8 nights before seeing room. Left about third day and they kept my money. Worst hotel,experience ever.

The Heritage standard is always the same - good. The food was awesome. Much nicer to be away from the traffic in town.

Amazing hotel with the best indoor/outdoor pool an gym in Queenstown. We tried the scented pillow option from the pillow menu and they were pretty much scent free as the bags had extruded all their scent. Apart from that it was awesome. Staff are lovely and attentive. Would be back in a heartbeat.

The service was amazing at the Heritage! Cannot fault it. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful at all times.

I booked a Studio Suite Non-Lakeview room for myself and my 2 young children. It included a king bed and a made-up sofa bed for no additional charge. The kitchenette with cooktop, microwave and small fridge helped to reduce the need to eat out for all meals. The bath was also welcome! The washer/dryer was also very handy. The pool wasn't heated, so restricted swimming during winter. Parking was also a bit restricted, with the need to use the overflow carpark across the road. But not a major drama. Overall, the hotel was clean, quiet and accessible.

I have stayed here many times as has my partner and went again as it was a place of significance to us. I was disappointed that parking now has to be paid for when it never has been before as parking is on site and part of the complex and there are no other alternatives. To be told that there is parking across the road which is only 4 hours is not an alternative. The reason we hired a car was so it would be easier to stay at this particular hotel. We want to have a drink at 9pm and told that if we had vouchers we would be served but if not couldn't get a drink. This was disappointing for a friday night. I was also told that as I was entitled to an upgrade that they would let me know...this never happened. When I enquired at reception if there were in fact spare rooms, there were.

You have to pay for parking as a guest and you have to pay extra for someone to deliver your room service, this is a hotel not a motel. Staff were all very friendly. Location is a 15-20 min walk to town, down hill going up hill coming back. Views are amazing.

The only thing that really annoyed me was paying for parking. I have traveled personally and for business a lot and have never once been charged for parking at a hotel.

A satisfactory stay at the Heritage - lovely service from the restaurant and bar staff. The things that let it down were cost - it's not the cheapest of stays and it felt insulting to be charged for parking at a hotel that is otherwise not easily accessible. Breakfast also overpriced given the limited selection available, and coffee not included.

Staff was friendly and very helpful, including the receptionist/front desk, cleaning crew and restaurant staff. My room was cozy and clean and provided good amenities. The location was conveniently close to the Central Queenstown area where all the restaurants, shops and activities were. Overall I had a great experience staying at Heritage!

Stayed here with the family and were in 2 rooms. The lakeside view was awesome and overall we enjoyed our stay. My only complaint would be the $15 charge per night for parking... Happy to pay for it but not something I was aware of while booking this accommodation.
