The property was lovely. Close to things we were interested in. Being close to the water was amazing. The staff was kind and helpful.

We love the amenities, and although our room was not facing the lake we still had a beautiful view.

Loved the location on the lake and the walkability of the location with many dining options within 15 minute walk. However lack of available free coffee and tea in the morning, or even a free breakfast for such a prestigious hotel seemed strange. The bath/shower facility seemed lackluster for a King suite.

We had never stayed at this property before and were pleasantly surprised. Excellent accommodations, delicious dining options, and great staff!

Property was solid, clean and the staff were very good. Unfortunately we had a toilet that ran all night and kept us up.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed for a weekend with our toddler and dog. Very dog friendly area with a nice off leash walking trail along the lake. The views from the property are excellent. If you love biking this is a perfect stay as you can ride the bike trail easily from hotel. We rented a boat from jones boats in Ainsworth for a day and that was a highlight of our trip. Would stay here again, good and beverage also great on site. The rooms are slightly out dated but so clean that it really doesn’t matter & the views and area make up for that no problem. Rest of hotel is updated and lovely.

We had some issues..we had booked the beach suite.The floors where black..upon the first night my feet became very dirty an hour after checking in. My husband took a towel to the floors..towel turned black.These floors had not been cleaned in awhile.Front desk documented our concerns it was a late check in at 9:30pm. We figured at 480$ a night this would be taken care of the next day,unfortunately it was not and they resent the cleaners to do it. They left crumbs and the floors still black. .Monday the manager was in I showed him the video of floors and he claimed we scrubbed to hard with a white towel..strange..I said I wanted clean floors he said they could manage that..We had one day left and room became clean.I told manager I would book another night (Tues) if he came to a fair resolution..THESE FLOORS where over the top dirty..not just a skiff of dust keep that in mind..He said he felt comfortable discounting 50 percent of 1 night of the 3…that didn’t work for me as I wanted to book another night and he could comp 1 as we lived with the dirty feet and grime of others for 2 nights..anyway less then stellar customer service & we where advised that they do room checks but the floors aren’t checked & basically it was to hard of a scrub on an easy clean vinyl plank floor that my husband did..Hence the reason the towel was “Black” after.This was thru the whole room! ..Seldom cleaned floors.Yikes!We expect more all around.

Love the pet friendly option

It was our first time in Nelson. The property location is magical, so convenient to walk everywhere. The hotel provides free E-Bikes (if you are a guest) and that was a fantastic feature. Both hotel restaurants are great and the Empire Cafe at the hotel is also fantastic. It was an amazing get away

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The facilities were great, and the check-in and checkout process was easy. The location was fantastic. We could easily walked up to Baker Street and we loved taking the tram to the Lakeside park. We definitely would love to come back!

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, and beautiful room/view!

A beautiful hotel located right on the water. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a lakeside room so could not have a better view from the balcony. The room had a comfortable couch and extra side chair, which was nice to not have to sit on the bed when relaxing, but not sleeping. Comfortable bedding. Great room amenities. Great drink and food options on site of the hotel as well. The hotel is very walkable to the city park (or easy to ride the street car there and back too). Easy uphill walk to downtown Nelson, however, you will be taking a lot stairs on one particular street block - so realize walking to infamous Baker Street is not for everyone. It would be a quick drive to downtown as well.

Always a great place to stay in Nelson

For the price we thought this hotel was average, particularly the restaurant and pool area. Rooms were very clean and lake view was lovely.

Excellent stay at the Prestige Resort. The staff was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. We cannot wait to go back.
