Soulless and needs a revamp

very pleasant 4 night stay over Easter. The room and bathroom were both very clean and quite spacious. The bed is nice and comfortable. The WiFi is excellent. Plenty of powerpoints for charging and convenient switches for the room lights next to the bed. Fantastic central location in the heart of the city centre, only 10 minutes walk to Outback in Isa. Buffs Club, Mt Isa Hotel/Red Earth are across the road. Nice pool. Reception staff are helpful and friendly. Fridge, tea and coffee, iron, hair dryer in room. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed over the whole of Easter, but there are plenty of other options around. A bit more expensive than most other hotels in town, but overall this has been a good, comfortable stay.

Super comfy bed & exception restaurant on site!

Where situated was good, walking distance for most of town area. We had room 240 it was roomy and tidy only thing it overlooked car park and the mine area. This was alright only because of where you are. Parking is limited and mostly in the sun. They had a small pool area which was pleasant after a very hot day, late afternoon in shade.

Position was central for all you need around town. Room faced the mine and car park. Pool was nice in afternoon shade

Some of the friendliest and helpful reception staff at any hotel I have stayed at in Australia and internationally. The front office staff make this property.

The only place I stay in Isa. The staff are the best! Great job guys and the new Restaurant renovation Giuseppe's Cantina is fantastic. Best place to stay and eat in Isa.

The checkin experience was great; however, once in the room it went downhill very quick. With blood stains (or the like) on the pillow, sheets, and blanket. This was the worst we have ever seen, we expected more from the Ibis Hotel Group.

The checkin was great, the room was very disappointing with blood and hair on pillows and blanket. The reception staff was sorry to hear of this and bought up another pillow. The cups and cutlery were also filthy.

The room was ok but the bedside light didn't work. The reception staff were good but the bar and restaurant staff were not attentive and unhelpful. One of the 2 main courses chosen (lasagne) was inedible and the staff were totally uncaring. They did not privide a desert menu when asked. We told the receptikn staff on leaving who ga ve us a 2n5% discount on the meal bill but we should not have been charged for that meal at all

We gave Ibis Styles Mt Isa Verona a second chance after a couple of quibbles on an earlier visit. This time we were well satisfied.

On the Expedia site it said this hotel had in-room safes. This is why I chose this hotel. However the hotel did not have in-room safes.

Excellent motel room. Car Parking or lack of is my only criticism.

Staff were lovely, beds were amazing and the room was big the only downside was that there was a cockroach on the ceiling in the bathroom that almost dropped on our heads, told staff they were waiting on pest control so all in all it was a good hotel! It was also in the best location only walking distance to shops pubs etc
