This hotel used to be a Microtel. Nowhere on expedia or hotels.com is that info shared. So the room is smaller than any room I've ever had in Manhattan.
Bare bones establishment. Subpar mattress, pillows, bedding, furnishings, etc.

Over $300/night for basically a “Motel 6”. We were given 2 washcloths for 2 people staying 2 nights. Breakfast was basically a do it yourself Jimmy Dean microwave biscuit.

This a great place to stay. The rates are economical and the hotel is pretty clean. The staff is friendly and always helpful. A few maintenance issues in our room, but nothing earth shattering.

I stayed here during a home football game and parents weekend. Hotel was way over priced.
#1 Room was advertised as a single queen bed. I measured it was a full. When I brought it up with the front dead, I was told “ all our beds are queens” that was a lie.
#2 My room 220 smelled like a nasty sneeze. When we brought it up with the desk,they would not let us check out and get refunded for the next night that was prepaid. They offered to clean the HVAC unit. After it was cleaned they turned unit off and said no more smell. When we returned the smell was better but once we upturned unit on the smell came back. I would never stay here again

The location is great- lots of restaurants and stores nearby and a quick drive to VT. The service team was very helpful and nice. The room itself was average. Beds were not great, a/c system was lacking and the bathroom was barebones. You pay a lot for this hotel especially on parents weekend and it didn’t feel like a 350/night kind of place.

I stayed during a home VT football game weekend. Even though the hotel was full my room was very quiet. The facility and my room were very clean, the staff is friendly and accomodating and it is well located near shopping and a variety of dining options. Would definitely stay here again.

Pretty average room. Lighting situation was not great, no bedside lamps, so it was either bright or dim from the little light by the window seat. Bathroom was handicapped, (definitely didn't ask for that) do no counter at all, and walk in shower with a bench. Bedding was kinda of thin, but it was clean.

Staff was very cordial and outgoing. Check-in was quick and easy. I thank Hotels.com for the service and accommodating our request. Will stay here again in the future---please pass this along to the Staff @ SureStay Hotel by Best Western-Christiansburg/Blacksburg.

The hotel staff is very nice, the hotel itself isn't in brand new condition but they have recently improved their breakfast selections, the suites with couch and fridge/microwave are comfortable and I have found the beds to be quite comfortable. It's a very reasonable option in this area.

Had a pleasant stay. The manager Mr Sahil was very friendly. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast spread was decent. A change in the menu would have been desirable - towards the end of my 6 day stay I got bored of the same breakfast.

One of the receptionists displayed a negative attitude towards people of color, which negatively impacted our experience. Otherwise, the property is well-maintained, clean, and quiet. The cold breakfast offered was also good.

Stayed one night at the hotel. Nothing really stood out as far as good or bad, just a very basic hotel. I was disappointed no refrigerator in the room--seems you needed to be in a upgraded room for one.

Staff were very nice. However, the elevator is still not fixed, linens on beds didn’t seem fresh. I ended up using my own. Humid hallway and it smelled stuffy, nit fresh. Continental breakfast was extremely limited abs the coffee was horrible. I couldn’t even drink it. Apparently I stay at this hotel in 2021 overnight. It was much better back then in my opinion.

No AC downstairs in lobby and hall. Elevator broken and 2nd floor room
No 1st floor rooms available. 3 elderly women have to walk up stairs with bags. Room dirty. Animal hair in shower. Dog treats on floor.

Clean, but that's where the positive ends. Lobby was stifling and the elevator was out of order. Breakfast was basic and awkward.

The elevator and air conditioning were both out of order. It was 92 degrees outside, so that made it very uncomfortable inside the building. I also called ahead to request a room on the first floor because one of the children in my party had recently had ACL surgery and was in a leg brace. I was told this wouldn’t be a problem. I was not made aware of the broken elevator and was told at check in the now only room left was on the third floor. I called for a refund and was denied because we stayed the night. We checked in at 10 pm and were not aware of all the issues. I feel like they should have at least offered a partial refund.

No elevator, coffee maker wasn’t complete, no A/C at the reception, toilet was wobbly, found leftover trash inside the bedroom and it smelled.
Staff was nice but the building needs maintenance and staff needs to be more diligent cleaning rooms.

Just one night, in town for softball camp. It was ok for one night. Daughter wanted more for breakfast. I had waffle and was fine. There was also bagels and yogurt. Found hair around sink in bathroom. I had trouble sleeping because of road noise. Staff very friendly.

What a pleasant surprise! Stopped on a whim on a road trip when I was just too tired to go any farther; grabbed something cheap and just off the freeway. Did not expect this place to be so scrupulously clean, friendly, and well run. I was so impressed- would definitely return.
