Very thin duvet cover, no glasses in bathroom and shortage of toilet extras (cotton wool etc) frames and shelves around bathroom mirrors flaking and need re lacquering
Breakfast was very poor self service and had not been replaced fried eggs solid bacon had hair on it and sausage dried up and everything Luke warm unable to eat took everything back to Vicky who returned it to the kitchen didn’t fancy anything else and put a complaint to restaurant manager Tracy .
Shame previous stay a couple months earlier had been very good hence return
Will be writing directly to the hotel to voice my displeasure

Excellent Check in. Warm welcome from Jess she was polite, professional. Rooms comfortable and clean. Food in the bar was average. The pool, steam room and sauna were good and clean

I stay in a lot of hotels for various price brackets and this what’s by far the least amount of hotel for the most money
Nearly £160 a night room only for the smallest tightest of rooms with the most basic of set up was quite disappointing, the food was basic mostly frozen items reheated
The service team where trying their best and where lovely but the main guy with the waistcoat was miserable, left tip on the receipt on a £37.68 meal , crossed out the amount and wrote £45 and the guy looks at at and says you're supposed to but the difference not a total, I said well it’s 45 total the rest is too and then gave it back for me to do the maths
I changed it back to 37.68 and left nothing

No toilet roll in the bathroom and soap dispensers didn’t work, not great when you’re already in the shower.

We had a problem with room type as the photos on Hotels.com website did not match the actual rooms at the hotel.
We specifically booked a room via Hotels.com which was supposed to have a shower cubical and NOT an over-bath shower according to the room photos given on the website.
The hotel staff tried very hard to resolve this, but the hotel was extremely full, so we had to have an 'accessibility' room which was okay but was a Standard, not a Deluxe as booked.
Forest Pines (Q Hotels) did give us a bar credit for the difference in cost which was gratefully received.
Other than this room-type issue, which was not the fault of Forest Pines, all staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Once we got the correct room sorted it was really nice to be there. We had a walk round the grounds before dinner and they are in stunning condition. Food was superb, bed was really comfy, and breakfast was excellent. and good value for money too.!

The hotel is good the staff are excellent food is expensive but lovely. We only had 1 hour in the pool for adult swim on the weekend. I was offered room for disabled which had shower toilet and i could leave my walker and clothes in and i had the key. All the staff were amazing.

Set in a lovely surrounding, great facilities, large rooms. Staff all super helpful and friendly.. a great place to relax and unwind

Overall the hotel is good our meals were excellent but we had no room service during our stay and had to use old towels as housekeeping had closed when we advised reception.

The room and the bathroom was a good size & clean. The food was very nice. Only problem was the traffic noise, which was very loud in the night, which we could hear clearly in the room and so didn't get a good nights sleep, we informed the receptionist the next morning and they did apologise. Overall, the staff were friendly and if it wasn't for the noise, it would be a lovely hotel to stay at.

Very friendly staff and nice clean room. However, would not stay again as the room was located so far from the reception up 2 small flights of stairs and lots of people had the same complaint. As it is a large hotel this is just something that cannot be changed but it means's I would not stay again. Evening meal was very slow service, food was ok but a little overdone. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and very attentive staff.

In a beautiful location, very easy to park, and very relaxing. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. High standard of comfort throughout.

We had a large twin room and may have been upgraded as there was some complimentary drinks in the minibar. The room decor was up to date and very contemporary. Lovely Nexpresso coffee machine. The main difference to me was the staff who were all happy to help, friendly with a much better work ethic than previous stay. They were all a Credit to Q Hotel.

We stay at this hotel when we travel to see family. It is a fairly large hotel with excellent facilities. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. The food is also very good and the breakfast is excellent. We always enjoy our stay. The room is fairly standard with a king size bed but comfortable. We try and stay during the week as we’ve found that it’s better value. It gets quite busy at the weekends with golfers.

The Hotel is lovely with an incredible Spa and swimming pool; the hotel bedrooms are tired and in need of some attention with dated furniture; limited toiletries in the bathroom etc.

Great location and a very nice walking path around the whole golf course.
Could do with a little refresh in some of the rooms,
but everything was clean.

Nice welcome from staff nice room spacious clean and tidy free welcome drinks on the house nice dinner and breakfast only thing the room radiator wasn't working and the towel radiator in bathroom was given a electric heater from the maintenance engineer all good
