Dated hotel. Huge wait to check-in with limited staff on the desk.
Scratchy towels need a refresh, no mini-bar, 2 bottles of water which are not refreshed after day 1 despite Brisbane’s 30+deg humid weather.
Limited car spaces so lucky if you snag one.

The staff are lovely. The hotel has been kept in good order. The beds are very comfortable.

I always look forward to my stay here. The location has easy access to all key spots. The staff consistently go above and beyond with their warm and helpful service, making every visit truly enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. The breakfast isa huge range and really delicious.

You really do not what to know what I thought about this hotel
But one thing I would say make sure you check your bill on check out. Even though we had pre paid we were still charged for the stay again and it took 2 phone calls and over 2 weeks to get the money back.
Also check your fire alarms!! They go off for no reason and then your greated by the Fire Brigade at 10pm (they were friendly Fire Men)

Lovely and romantic hotel. Really kind people are working there and the facilities and amanities are so classic, clean and neat. The restaurant is also great for the breakfast and i hope the dinner would be greater than morning.

An empty mini bar was the only downside as well as it seems no room service is available at the moment either which was a bit disappointing

A lovely staycation at the Stamford. Room not ready before check in but they held our bags and brought to room which was appreciated. Classic interiors but well maintained and spotlessly clean. Service a bit slow - had to call 3 times requesting robes to the room. Buffet breakfast is good - we managed to get a table by the river which we preferred to the interior.

Everything was really clean and beautiful, only complaint would be our luggage took so long to be brought up to our room. My partner wanted to shower and went down twice to retrieve it, both times finding the guy just standing around talking,

i used to stay at Stamford frequently. I think it has downgraded itself somewhat. No minibar, have to ask for extra towels and soaps. Staff are certainly not reflective of a 4/5 star Hotel. Great location

Lovely hotel. Love how there is a small tv in the bathroom and the wire you can hang your clothes in the bathroom (really useful if you have wet clothes). Love that the hotel ilhas a vintage feel which makes it unique and very interesting. Love the shoe rack!

I had a great stay with a lovely view of the river. My only (minor) complaint is that the water pressure wasn’t that great! I’d definitely stay again!

Forgot my phone charger during checkout; called the front desk twice for two days immediately: they said they would call me back after speaking to cleaning staff; but they never called back.
So I consider that the phone charger lost and order a replacement now.
We have been traveling around the world years; but 5 star hotel likes this one is rather rare.

Just found concierge staff not very professional. I arrived early and went there to leave my luggage. The staff didn’t document the ticket properly and the other staff couldn’t find my luggage and I found it behind the the desk myself. I was certainly not impressed.

Awesome hotel, internally it was beautiful, thought the external needs to be repaired white walls are moulded and painted peeling off...I was upgraded though they forgot to provide me with my drink vouchers, I remembered just before we went out fir dinner...breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful

Staff at reception on arrival wasn’t very helpful or friendly, in the room we were given coffee pods to make coffee and didn’t have a coffee machine, only had a kettle and when asked for instant coffee we were given decaf coffee only, had to ask multiple times
What we liked was the concierge Lincoln , who had a wide knowledge and gave us detailed information on what was the best thing to see in Brisbane and how to get there and also Hellito at reception was very helpful when we lost our backpack , maybe they should train the rest of the team how to provide a great customer service
