When checking in was warmly welcomed and when Taylor checked us in was so kind, caring and compassionate, and kindly upgraded us to king room when discovered reason was for a funeral. All staff were so kind and helpful. Cannot fault the hotel at all was clean, bed and pillows so comfortable, will definitely go back when it is for a happier occasion. Will always be grateful to Taylor for the stay we had.

Very noisy. Asked for a different room as we could hear the conversation word for word.next door and a baby screaming and crying.
Breakfast buffet was out of food and drink in many areas. No sausages, no bacon, no butter and no orange juice.

The lack of undercover parking was frustrating. It meant we had to park next to a homeless man that had camped outside a business and had started a fire to keep warm. We felt sorry for him and his predicament.

The hotel is great for the price and the beds & pillows are very comfortable. In my room, the AC was loud, and there were no knives and forks or plates - so for travellers bringing their own food on premise, please note to bring your own or ask at reception.

The parking at the property was an additional cost to the room rate and we were advised in a later email that we must book and pay for space in advance. It should have been advised at the time of original booking. We did book ahead but the car park wasnt even undercover!

The outside needs a revamp and a bit more secure car park with fencing maybe. Isnside is good but outside needs a freshen up and windows cleaned

The service and genuine friendliness of staff was exceptional.the staff were knowledgeable of the area and more than happy to gives us directions to where we needed to go in the local area. After checking out we spent the day by the pool, great access to bar, showers, towel

Staying at the rydges was very comfortable with my partner , two kids who are usually crazy to deal with . the room was nice itself very clean along with the rest of the hotel and has everything you need to enjoy your stay from lovely bars and restaurants a nice clean pool , spa would highly recommended

The hotel is in a good location 15 min walk to the foreshore. The beds are comfortable if you like a soft bed. This is a hotel for a basic 1 or 2 night stay. There is no smart TV. The bathroom is small particularly if more than 1 person staying in the room.
The parking is disappointing. It is outdoor parking not secure and should be Free! It is expensive for outside car park and if you dont leave by 12pm you will be slugged with a $5 fee Plus $ 5 for every hour or part of beyond 12pm. The reception staff told me we could stay until 1pm before the fees kick in maybe the staff need to check up on the policy before giving info to guests.
If you need a convenient hotel for a couple of nights it will do the job

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable room. Just a shame we had people ‘Nick knocking’ at our door at different hours of the night which disturbed our sleep.

Nice hotel located close to everything Geelong CBD has to offer. Short walk or drive to the water. Rooms were nice and big. Only downside was the queen size bed. Plenty of room for King size bed. Bathrooms clean and tidy. Second time we’ve stayed there. Well priced.
