Kind of average Tiny elevator and stairwell No Ramps for luggage

My friend room smell mildew.

Our room was hot and had a terrible mildewed smell.

Hotel was in a good location: walkable to restaurants, convenient stores, a bit further walk to monuments/Grand Plaza. Room was clean. But no AC, just heat. Window didn’t lock, only wooden beam to keep it secure. Elevator was tiny. Breakfast was just okay, for 22 euros there should be more hot items. Staff was very nice.

Room smelled of stale smoke. Minibar fridge was broken, toilet flush button was broken and shower leaked

The beds are old, very springy and uncomfortable. You pushed 2 twin beds together which makes it impossible to sleep in the middle of the bed because the beds separate. Will not stay here again.

Beautiful art deco Libby and extremely spacious rooms, all main attractions of Brussels within easy walk. Old fashioned European luxury at an affordable price. Excellent value for money.

a typical city-center hotel. Had no problems. Staff put us in an upgraded room just because it was available. Very nice people. Daily cleaning of the room, nice lady.

Like this hotel, have stayed here many times, very good amenities and quite central - wish they would allow earlier check ins, would make life easier, breakfast is okay, not great, could be improved.

Old hotel nothing 4 star at all. Stunk bad in 2 rooms stayed just 1 night. Extremely scary closterphobic parking lot below hotel with almost no room for a car to make turnsNot really conveniently located. It’s 2 star hotel. Calling this 4 star is a crime. It’s under remodel apparently. Safe does not work. No lock on sliding glass door and zero accommodations to speak English. Really ? Elevators really old and tiny. This place was terrible.

Quaint hotel with character and decent location...undergoing some much needed updating. Rooms were not as spacious as indicated in the photos on Expedias site and the view was nowhere near as lovely as the photos showed. Would have been much more enjoyable with air conditioning...it was not listed as an amenity on Expedias site but I assumed incorrectly that all hotels are air conditioned! We were given an oscillating fan which helped some but still very warm in the rooms. Also, the elevator is extremely small (only 2 persons at a time) and was having some issues. Nice selection of restaurants/lounges/shopping within walking distance and not too far from historical center.

Literally everything in our room was broken or stained. Shower head, bath screen iron all broken. Bath screen boarderline dangerous... patio door taped up. Walls stained, chairs all stained, bedding was stained.

Good choice if you need to stay in the centre of Brussels. It’s a proper hotel as opposed to some hostels that think they are hotels. Rooms are a tad small and bathrooms compact but full service. Breakfast at 22€ is unneccessary given several smart cafes within 2 minutes walk. Clean, tidy and pleasant staff.

Easy to find Hotel fairly close to what you want to see and do in Brussels. NIce helpful greeting at reception. The room was spacious clean and very comfortable, but could have had tea and coffee making facilities. Well stocked mini bar if you are so inclined.The breakfast was more then adequate,helpful serving staff.An extremely nice hotel for a weekend stay.A word of warning DO NOT eat at the Leabanese restaurant on the corner from the hotel. Its dreadful

Izan was totally beautiful--I will always go back there. Beautiful classical charm and the service was outstanding. I loved it.

We arrived at the hotel and were shocked at the outdated decor, stained carpet, ripped wallpaper, and displaced light fittings in our room. We then found a pair of dirty underwear in our bathroom, left behind by the last guests. The bed was very uncomfortable as all of the pillows available seemed to be decorative ones, rather than your standard pillow. The location of the hotel was great, and the staff were fine. We walked everywhere easily.When we were checking out, we were told we had to pay for drinks from the mini bar, which we had not touched. We disputed this and the member of staff eventually accepted that we were telling the truth, but it was unpleasant to disagree over something like that. I suspect that the previous guests used the mini bar and it had not been replenished.

Nice room tiny bath, near a local shop and also some attractions. Navigated the tight corners of the underground car park before heading to the grand Prix at spa.Stayed with friends on the 2nd to top floor so had a nice balcony, would stay here again. Staff were helpful as well

The experience was very good as ever - welcoming staff, good location, near to Louise Metro and Ixelles

some fees i have not been informed, ex local phone calls, tax fees, etc. No air conditioning. Restaurant was closed but i have been informed only when I asked and still had a menu with room service in my room, whats the point if the restaurant is not available during the whole stay... the double-bed/queen bed were two single bed put together... not too too comfy... The room i thought I had booked had a big view of the city,etc... no view here... When i left i did my check out and wanted to pay everything the night before because i was leaving early the next day, but the next morning the guy says well my colleague forgot some part of the tax fees, etc etc... ... like i went to pay in advance so that this does not happen...And one of the guy was very rude when i asked about the telephone fees, usually local call are not charged, well at least i had not been informed when i asked about the code to give calls, that there were an amount per call or per minute and what was it... Beside these little incidents,... the staff provided with what i asked extra, mostly very clean and well situated. Would have loved to have the restaurant but nice restaurants around too. No air conditioning was really the thing that tired me the most, but might be because i was coming back from a trip from Africa.. anyway.. had a nice trip, but i would probably check some other places before going back there, but was not too bad.

The room was comfortable and charming. Very old fashioned. Some things could be updated, like the carpet but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed several times and the plumbing/water system just does not work. It either results in the water stopping and not restarting, mid shower, or theres not hot water. The hotel always has an excuse and this morning it was that sometimes if a lot of people are showering at once there is a problem - Im sorry but thats the nature of the business and totally not acceptable!

Run out property but good price
