I made it clear that I was there celebrating my birthday with my sister. I requested the suite with a couch, and I was at the hotel prior to anyone checking in (I was there at 8 am) and (Samee-the front desk rep) stated that the other suites, which had not even been checked into were assigned, but no one was in them. I know this because housekeeping was still cleaning them, and it could be seen from the hallway. I was told that my request could not be honored. I then said where are the chargers for Americans/English people who cannot charge their phones. They had no chargers to lend us but had them for us to purchase. You have guests from all over the world and no system for lending the chargers that you have in your possession and your business only has them to purchase. This practice is an underhanded money grab. Finally, I requested a to-go breakfast the night before due to having to leave early and not being able to sit and eat. I was told that I need to request it before 9; this is not outlined anywhere, nor is the charging situation. Overall, a disappointing stay from the beginning other than the note that they left wishing me a happy birthday with candies. This was very sweet. The tram is convenient and close, the breakfast is very good. The neighborhood is lovely if you care to walkabout without the hustle and bustle of the city. I chose this place for their high ratings with customer service; my visit was not reflective of the basic expectations.

Great stay, hotel was even able to let us check in a little early. Love the room decor - mine was a picture of a Dutch cheese! Excellent location, great bar service too…. Will be back!!

This hotel is a great place to stay for a short weekend in Amsterdam. It is not as overpriced as central Amsterdam hotels, and there is a train station literally at the doorstep of the hotel which takes you into the city in just over 20 minutes. Located in downtown Zaandam, it is THE centerpiece of the area with the style it is built in. The rooms are clean, sufficiently spacious and beds are comfortable. Our daughters loved the pool in the hotel.

Excellent hotel to start my 60th birthday celebrations.Will tell others about this hotel, superb breakfast. Near to the airport and good transport links for the rest of Amsterdam. Will vist again

While the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was delightful, our overall experience was disappointing, particularly given the hotel's 4-star rating. Upon checking into our junior suite, we found that the cleanliness was not up to standard, with noticeable stains on the floor, walls, and baby bed. Additionally, some elements of the room’s interior were damaged.
We were promptly offered an alternative room, which was an improvement but still did not meet the quality we would expect from a 4-star establishment, especially considering the price. As compensation, we were offered a complimentary coffee, which was a nice gesture but felt insufficient given the issues we encountered.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, we found the stay to be overpriced and below the level of quality we had anticipated.

This is the most unique hotel that I have ever stayed in! It was quirky and attractive because of the stacked houses style. It was beautiful inside out. The facilities are superb and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. Just steps away from the hotel entrance are restaurants, groceries and shopping areas, so we had a hassle free stay. I would definitely love to come back here.

A beautiful and interesting hotel from the outside. The rooms were standard but modern and clean. The hotel can be reached from Schipol Airport directly by Sprinter Train which is very convenient for flights - 30 minutes travel time but can be direct. The area is great for some affordable shopping and food, but the hotel has a pleasant restaurant as well. The swimming pool and sauna were also a bonus and we will stay here again. The only downside is Amsterdam's City Tax on tourists that is expensive.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was large and extremely clean. The bathroom was also large, it had a bath with an overhead shower. There was a kettle and a fridge which was great. We didn’t use any of the facilities at the hotel like the restaurant or wellness centre. The staff were polite and check in and out was easy. The hotel is in a great location by the train station and shops.

The hotel looks lovely, bed, bathroom and room are comfortable and a great size. Coffee and tea making facilities below par for the hotel. To make a coffee was inconvenient, messy and overall disappointing. Not what one would expect from a hotel.

This hotel is in a perfect location to visit Amsterdam room was a good size, spar was lovely and so close to the train station get to the centre of Amsterdam in just over 10 minutes

So convenient!! Parking was a breeze and so is taking the train to Amsterdam city! Train station was steps away! Food options was perfect for my picky eater. McDonalds and supermarket is literally steps away.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The initial appeal was the room decor but I found our room to be a little bit dated with the bathroom needing some work (lime scale, moisture bubbling) . However, what I will say is that the service at this hotel is top-notch. Their “ You’ll be surprised” Motto really applies. I feel like the staff at this hotel want to go above and beyond and that makes the difference.
We also loved that it was really close to the transit so getting to Amsterdam, Utrecht, etc was very easy.
There are also a lot of shopping options around.

The rooms are spacious, clean and we had a sauna in the room. The front desk staff helped us with every question we had. They even printed off train routes for us! We loved staying at the Intel Hotels!

The place is very unique and beautiful. I so much enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The Hotel is very clean and colorful, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I love the water scene surrounding the hotel. It was very easy gerting aroung the hotel regarding restaurants, shopping malls and others. I would definitely be recommending the Hotel to my friends and families.

The hotel is iconic and charming but only from the outside. The interior rooms have a weird layout and the walls had many weird stains all over, especially in the bathroom. The lobby restroom was also dirty and unkempt. Better to walk past the hotel but not stay. The amenities were nice but really out of place with the low quality details and uncleanliness.

My husband and I booked at two-night stay at Zaandam's Inntel Hotel. The building is beautiful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We included the breakfast buffet in our package. It was a delicious, convenient option for us. As travelers, we look to three important details when rating our stays: bed comfort, shower strength/temperature and location. All three were exceptional during our stay. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and clean, with comfortable sleeping conditions and shower usage. And lastly, the hotel is conveniently located next to the train station, making travel to Amsterdam Centraal and Zaanse Schans easy. I would recommend a stay at Inntel Hotel in Zaandam.

Located close to the Zaandam train station, easy, short trip to Amsterdam Central station. They had the most comfortable beds out of the three hotels we stayed in during our trip. It is a very unique looking building, very quiet at night. The area surrounding the hotel is very nice with a little canal, elevated walkway, and waterfall. There are a few dining options and a supermarket not far from the hotel.

Inntel hotels is wonderfully quirky looking and I loved it. The decor is morden,simple and clean. Staff were helpful. Its about two stops away from Amsterdam with frequent trains. The hotel is in a central location and a few minutes away from anything you need. I will definitely stay here again - period 😊

The hotel itself is super charming, but we ended up booking it as it was also actually affordable when we compared it to other properties with similar amenities. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, the pool area was great. They set us up with a crib for our baby and the room itself has near black out blinds so we were happy with that.
Well located near grocery if you don't want to dine in, and close to the train station. Overall a great stay!
