2nd time of visiting, room what we booked warm clean ample tea coffee ect.The gem of the place is the public bar great friendly staff manager brilliant and so welcoming. The lady behind to bar great 😉

Good value for money. Not many parking spaces, although you can find free spaces in the surrounding roads. Quiet location.

It is very old building and bar only a small cark park so had hassle finding space on road. The manager was friendly enough .The room basic but it all worked so cant really complain .Furniture and decor could do with updating but thats not what i booked lol .Overall done the job and had a good night

Great inn near the beach

I had a good nights sleep without interruptions. The bed was comfortable.

Great staff made you feel at home and the breakfast was very good.

The general standard of cleanliness is not very good, particularly the stairs going to our room were very dirty. The advert for our stay said that breakfast was included but it was not. Breakfast would have cost another £9. It also advertised parking although there were only 3 parking spaces. I had to park approx. 400m away from the hotel which was not ideal. The room is not worth £100 for the night.

Hotel not well lit up at night - difficult to find. Room was very cold. Breakfast was supposed to be included but we were told there's no breakfast with our booking.

Warm clean room No:7 with sea view - white cotton bedding, soft towels, nice cosmetics, good tea tray, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and friendly service. On site parking and hotel has some history!

The 1876 property was in wonderful shape, the room had lots of channels on TV, and the staff was friendly and informative. And it was only a short walk to the seaside. My stop in St'. Leonard's!

First impressions were great a big room with a sea view but it went downhill from there. The tatty bed base creeked on every move, the blinds were broke had to hang a towel on them, the tv remote was faulty, the shower head was floppy and wouldn't tighten, the water temperature fluctuated , there was no hand soap. Breakfast was nice though.

It was a convenient location. Lovely old building. Bit tired but not bad decor. Broken blind (three adjacent slays missing), tv didn't work. Website stated breakfast included in the price, but nobody was there to provide breakfast. I called, was told breakfast wasn't booked. Nobody co firmed on check-in if breakfast was required. This was very disappointing.

Says breakfast included but wasn’t had to take mattress off bed and put on the floor due to bed very old and creeky floor creeks towels stained blinds broken main light bits hanging off telly had about 3 channels that worked properly very very dated decor outside of the room cigarette smell outside of the room friendly staff

This hotel has seen better days. Lovely old building but sadly neglected and poorly converted. Would make an excellent restoration project for someone with deep pockets. Inside is neglected and shabby. Room was OK but in need of maintenance and repair. Breakfast was OK. On the plus side, well it was cheap for the area.

We bought a one-day overnight stay with breakfast. When we arrive, it turns out we don't own breakfast. You will have to pay for them separately! Although it was clearly written that the bed is with breakfast. Therefore, I would advise you to check for breakfast before arriving, so that it does not happen to us. Room was clean, comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was surprisingly quiet because at first I thought there would be noise because they have a Pub downstairs but no, it was really quiet. The pub was not busy and it closes early. There was some exterior work being done right in front of our room but we didn’t mind and didn’t really cause inconvenience to us. The Inn has a garden, which is a plus. Parking was not really a problem. The Inn is a few minutes walk from the seafront which we always visited. The kids loved it and where they had a swim as well. It’s also not very far from the pier and town center. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. The male staff/chef was very nice and accommodating. We really appreciated his service. Sorry but I forgot to ask for his name. Dean who checked us in was also very nice. I have noticed that all of the staff members were male. The Inn will benefit from the touch of a female staff 😊. The building itself has a good character, although the inside of it needs updating especially the common areas. It will also give good impression if staff would wear work uniform. We also appreciated that our room was being tidied up each day of our stay. We will recommend it to friends and family. We will stay again.

I liked the breakfast. I didn't like the bed, it was horrible and we could not close the bathroom door.

Ok for a short overnight stay. Property is tired and dated but clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Was supposed to include breakfast but when I went down for it everything was locked up and no one around to ask.

I have already sent a review on how disgusting this site was. On this I request a refund as I did not stay. I did not stay long enough as I was so appalled.

Extremely cold, no heating in any rooms or hallways. Breakfast was included but there was no breakfast not even anyone about to speak to

The room smelled of sewer. The toilet was leaking out on to the floor. Housekeeping did not manage to do their part. Furniture flimsy and barely holding together. Bed broken
