While the property appeared nice, the room had carpeting throughout and many stains in corners of the carpet. It did not feel clean for this reason. Otherwise a lovely stay.

It was unpleasant to arrive at midnight, enter the room and see that it was used by the previous guests. I have never had this experience in a hotel in my life.
There was no formal excuse and we received a payment back from the reception because we requested and talked to them the next day (we were moved to another room, thanks there was one room available!). They should improve their customer relationships procedures.
The room was confortable, correct space and light. The room should have some maintenance retouches (oxide in the bath, painting in some parts).
The personnel of the restaurant is kind and the breakfast is standard.
Considering the area, it is at a nice spot, with parks around, and 10 minutes walking to the train station to Rotterdam center.

I have stayed many times here under the last 15 years.
Until now the hotel was always speckless.
Something changed I feel.
It feels not the same.
I tried the room in the lower part just for fun.
But the room was freezing when I entered, 15 degrees. The heating very very noisy.
And the temperature was not at all responding to the display…
The breakfast was ok but as well is felt better the 20 times before…

Whilst dinner food is quite good, breakfast food needs to be improved.
Dry scrambled eggs and dried out cheese slices were not expected nor appealing after the nice dinner. Omelette with ham was simply scrambled eggs with slices of ham - not up to par in my opinion.

The room was Sirn out , the vipboards had smaller damages, the toilet was ok , but the room Walls are to thin , you Can hear everything that the neighbours are doing

Great riverside location , not far from the centre of Vlaardingen. Spacious, comfortable and clean room with river view. Good menu selection at Cafe Nautique. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

I have stayed at Delta Vlaardingen several times. Walking distance from the home my mother grew up in. Anlways a bit nostalgic. I also enjoy watching the shipping traffic.

Delightful hotel with no drip charging. In these days of being charged for everything extra from breakfast to parking thus hotel is a delight. Plus the service was great and the room was clean & well appointed.

Great spot by the water and cute little ambiance. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you are looking for some space and not be in the city that’s a great spot. The train station to get to Rotterdam is a 10 min walk.

Great place to stop and watch the seafaring world go by. Busy river so there’s always something to see. Rooms are all decorated based on sailing boats. Very nice.

This time I had a good time but bad night, bedbugs in the bed. I look like out of space and scratching from bites on all over my body.

Amazing breakfast buffet, good food at the restaurant, good ambiance, nice rooms. Not the best view but good enough. Our server during the dinner could have been more attentive. We felt like we were being discriminated and purposely not given a good service.

Had an accident in the hotel when chair collapsed a d I banged my head and eye on the table. I was supplied with an ice pack but no one checked on my condition for the next two days. I could have had concussion or needed a doctor. There was little to no concern for my condition.

The setting along the main channel to Rotterdam is spectacular. Everything else about the hotel - staff. dining. decor, accessibility. is top notch

I thought the property was well maintained and room was clean. The AC was weak but we were able to open the windows and there was a very nice breeze from the canal. The breakfast was perfect. I thought the restaurant was a nice option. I would stay here again for sure.

Pros: right on the river bank, huge windows both at the restaurant and in the rooms. Nice view on marine traffic. Cons: poor noise insulation in the room. Voices and noises from neighboring rooms can be easily heard. Pretty limited menu at the restaurant

Clean, modern and comfortable hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaurant service is a little slow but the food is good. The only issue we had was nobody, including staff, besides us wore masks.

We've booked the captain suite (without the balcony). Our room boasts of great view with the river, which was splendid. The suite is a bit old as that can be seen from the window frames and sockets. The carpet had some tiny stains, which seemed to have been used for quite a long time. The armchairs were comfy but it's not absolutely clean. Besides from that, it was overall a fair experience for the good food provided at the restaurant and the great view with the sea. Would really recommend for a nice weekend trip but if you're a person who cares very much about hygiene and cleanliness you probably need to think twice before making a reservation.

Good room that was spacious and clean. Not many plug point if you need to have your computer and phone charging at the same time. Otherwise excellent.
