I will stay here every time I'm in St. Louis! The staff was SO friendly, and that does a lot. It may not have been the fanciest room I've stayed in, but it was clean, affordable, good location, and everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was nice for the kids to burn some energy, the breakfast was good, and everything was aesthetically appealing as well. The suite was spacious and had more comforts than I even expected. So pleased with our stay!

The staff is nice and that's about the only good thing I can say about this property. Don't let the photos deceive you: this hotel is tired and dated and 10 years overdue for an re-do.
Room was unclean at check-in: trash hadn't been taken out which included bags of dirty diapers from a previous guest. When I brought up to the staff they offered a modest discount for our first night only even though we had taken out the trash ourselves and done all of the cleaning. Additionally, mysterious white stains were all over the desk chair as well as weird stains on the carpets. Various drawers were broken in the room and one TV had a broken screen. It would've been nice if someone in that hotel cared to check a room that we paid over $200/night for.

Location was perfect for our STL visit. Only here one day/night to visit the city museum and Blues game...both of which were so closeby.

I like the fact that the location was not directly downtown where we had to park in a parking garage. The representatives were nice. Breakfast was good. after a day of rain, the carpet in the bedroom by a bed, under the window got wet so had to get in the bed from one side and move luggage. It would’ve been a big inconvenience to move six people into another room with all of our stuff. The fire alarm went off and we were outside for about an hour or so. No discount for either of those inconveniences. One family member didn’t feel safe after that and wanted to move to another hotel, but we didn’t. Air conditioning was uncomfortable. It either was too cold or not cold enough. Couldn’t set the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. At 12:30 AM, my brother is going downstairs. He turned the corner to go to the elevator. There is a man laying on the floor and two pit bulls- one barked at him. He turned around and went back to the room. I saw the man the next day and his two pit bulls. The sofa sleeper couch was old and uncomfortable. More than likely, we wouldn’t stay there again

Terrible check in experience. First wrong room, then a room that was already occupied. Las room was ok. TVs are super old and do not really work. No coffee machine in the room. They told us to bring one - but they did not.

My room smelled like a dog. Then I noticed lots of other dogs at the hotel staying in the rooms. I'd stay here again since it's convenient but I'd have to demand a clean smelling room. Also the room key kept failing and I had to go the the front desk to get it fixed multiple times.

We did not get the room we originally book. When we were placed in the room they had available it was dirty, blood on the toilet and bathroom floor, food in the pull out couch bed. When we went down to address this issue with staff they did quickly get us into two clean rooms (i booked one so we could stay together) but the rooms were right across the hall from each other and they comped the second room.

Was a great stay however was very disappointed by the amenities that were promised prior to booking (lobby bar which was closed, and morning mimosas on the weekend that were never available to name a couple).

We had booked a suite for my wife and 4 kids. When we got to the room it had not been cleaned. It was dirty and the beds were not made. It had old sheets etc that had obviously been used.
We went back down to the office (with all of our luggage) and they put us into two rooms because they were sold out on suites. The one room was fine. The other room had a hide-a-way bed in the couch. Upon pulling it out to use it, we discovered that the sheets were still on the mattress and had been urinated on extensively. The whole room stunk of pee. Very disappointing ending to a long day of travel and a late arrival.

It was a very nice and clean place to stay

Negative: When we first entered the room, we noticed the 'popcorn' peeling from the ceiling. There was a dirty towel hanging from the back of the bathroom door. The soaps in the shower were off the wall. The comforter had what appeared to be lipstick and unknown stains on it. The door to the A/C, heat unit opened on it's own. The window had prints on it. The window was wobbly when opening/closing it. The couch cushions were sinking into the couch. Unknown stains on the couch. The bar in the lobby was not open. No lactose free options for breakfast.
Positive: the hotel lobby smelled and appeared clean. The kitchen in the room appeared clean.The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were nice. Check in and checkout staff were nice.
Overall: the room fit our needs for the duration of our stay, despite the negatives. I hope these negatives are taken into consideration and no longer issues in the future.

I was in room 202. I didn’t enjoy the fact that I had a big white humidifier in the sitting area connected to the window. Not sure if I would return due to this. I’m not one that complains so I dealt with it. The sofa had lots of stains so I covered it with a sheet to sit on. Lots of fruit flies were present.

The bartender was knowledgeable of various drinks beyond the stand mixing. Yazmin at the front desk was very helpful and had recommendations for the surrounding area.

This is probably one of the most sketch residents in I've ever seen. I can't believe Marriott would let their name be affiliated. There were prostitutes all around the property and some smoking marijuana and soliciting guests. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $30 or $40 and stay somewhere else.

Our stay was fantastic. Very friendly service, accommodations were good {pull out couch bed a little uncomfortable but appreciated having it} Breakfast excellent, bottomless mimosas were delicious, staff offered suggestions for transportation. It was a great place to stay.

Stay was great! Location was close to where we were going, which was Busch Stadium. The service was excellent. Breakfast was great. There was only 1 remote control for 2 TVs. Room was clean, beds were comfortable.

It would’ve been perfect but the room next door had barking dogs that barked all night. We got no sleep!! Didn’t bother calling the desk because what could they do about it? The people weren’t there, we knocked, it was just their dogs and it sounded like 3 of them. Horrible experience, won’t go back there. It’s a shame too because your staff is excellent and the hotel very clean!!

Overall all nice hotel but there was pubic hair in our “clean” towels, the tub and ceiling about the tub were peeling which was not very pretty. Also would have been nice to know when booking this non refundable room that parking was not included. Theres an extra $18 dollars that feels like I was cheated out of. Nice breakfast though.

I won't stay there, nor will I recommend the hotel to anyone I know! The only positive thing I experienced was the friendly receptionist!

When we arrived to our room it smelled like someone had smoked in there before. The A/C was a stand alone unit that was a tube to the window in the middle of the room (so there was no way for A/C to get to the 2 bedrooms. I went to the main desk to ask for another room, and the First Lady was kind of rude stating there were no other rooms, and that she would have someone come spray the room.
After asking other people in our group how their room was, I went back to the desk and spoke with another lady. She was kind and got us another room. The new room had regular A/C and smelled fine, but you can tell it was run down some. The doors to the bathroom were warped on the sides from being wet. The A/C never got “cold”. It was very warm in the room. Overall a 2 star experience at a 2 star hotel at best.
