Good rooms and buffet but outside maintenance requires more work

Beautiful pool and nice food

Facilities was clean and easy to access. Very comfortable stay for the entire family.

Very pleasant hotel, friendly staff. The room was recently renovated and had a nice sea view. The room prices automatically go up significantly for Friday and Saturday but very good value during the week. Also be aware that the breakfast restaurant is extremely busy at the weekend. The restaurant can handle it but there are a lot of people. For some reason the pool and beach were pretty empty but both are very pleasant. Definitely aimed at families but as a couple we really enjoyed the hotel.

Nice place but it could do with a facelift. Quality restaurant, substantial breakfast buffet. Big room for 2 with jacuzzi, which is unfortunately a bid rough and I did scrape my elbows. Outdoor area of the room could improve with some intimate light.

This is one of few resorts in the Kenting area. Parts of hotel have been renovated and parts haven't . There needs to be a review of the rating of this property as it is certainly not 5 star. Rooms are partially rennovated and needs updating especially bathrooms and tiles. Corridors , outdoor umbrellas are in need of desperate clean . Balconies need a refreshing coat of paint and review of the flora and plants . I would strongly recommend that Expedia review the ratings of this property and work with this property to ensure it meets the ratings that are published online. Perhaps this was once a very nice place >10 years ago but has not been maintained. I would also recommend to Expedia to filter the ratings to review in last 3 years vs reviews > 3 years. Prices does not match the quality. Facilites and choice of activities for children are good and so is the breakfast and breakfast area is lovely. But overall this hotel needs renovation and upkeep.

It was very nice hotel to stay.

A great resort for family. We love the lounge cafe. The dessert, mango tart, is so good that we had to take some to-go. We will be back when we are in Taiwan again!

beautiful and rather exclusive beach. near to eating places. plenty of activities to occupy the whole family. room is big and feels luxurious for a beach resort. whole family is happy :)

The facility is clean, the rooms are great, the pool was awesome and no shower cap required. The food was really good in the Thai restaurant. We are there every night it was that good. We will absolutely stay there again.

We took the bus from Kaohsiung to Kenting. The bus stops across from the resort. The place it’s beautiful has great decor. The food at the buffet was great. Short walk to shops and restaurants. The bay was private as it is small and the main large beach area is just a few kilometres away. But I enjoyed the quietness and too act of the small bay. It is across from the hotel but you can take a scenery walk from the hotel that goes under the highway to get there or through the street. The only thing I didn’t like is that the pool and specially the hot tub was not I so it was cold. And it needs a good wash to get rid of the grime on the grout.

Felt like a resort. Walk to the beach & the cool night markets. Compared to others-it was way too expensive for the room. But that’s my only negative.

We prolonged our stay another day. The place is nice, although it has seen even better days. We loved it, and recommend it, especially for families with younger kids.

Hotel has been remodeled, very new and clean. They give nice sandals, free water, drinks and snacks, the breakfast buffet is awesome! They have nice pool and a walkway to private beach ! It is right next to the night market with so many choice of delicious street food! There are ping pong , pool tables and other entertainment for kids. The price is so reasonable too. We had a great time and will definitely come back !!

Very new and clean hotel, excellent services and facilities offered to kids and adult

Everything was almost perfect. My fam enjoyed the stay. The only complaint is that we had to make several trips for getting our breakfast as the buffet was in another room. That said, I would still give it 5 stars.

This might be a good place for an family with small children - but not otherwise. We have stayed in places with much higher quality rooms, service and dining in Taiwan. The breakfast buffet is especially unfortunate. An otherwise nice looking swimming pool is completely governed by small children.

Everything is good except the room size

It is a decent resort with swimming pool and a hotel managed beach in-front. But definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would rate it 3.5 star. Service is average, breakfast buffet is a joke. You can expect a food court style buffet where they clear out tables by bringing in buckets. Had to wait 30 minutes to just get an omelette. 15 min wait just to get a table at a food court and another 15 min waiting for an omelette.

I like: 1. location, 2. garden and pool, 3. friendly staff.. I don't like: 1. bumpy entrance; dangerous to bike and motorcycle riders 2. too few restaurants; it's so ridiculous that BBQ only open to local bus group 2. weird rule of insisting retrieve the key card. The staff asks me to send the key cards back even I have left earlier to catch the flight back to US; never seen descent hotels worldwide bother guests to retrieve electronic key cards so seriously.
