Very nice rooms, some with direct views on the harbor, good service and nice breakfast. Was right next to the pedestrian bridge across the harbor.

Great location, great harbor view, terrible ramshackle building. The showerhead almost came out of the wall, wet stains on the ceiling. The day we left there was a strong wind and we were afraid the roof might come off.

Best part of this hotel is that it is right next to the foot bridge to take you to the downtown area. That was the best part of the hotel. It was a low budget place across from the main downtown area. It was a simple check-in process, but just a transactional and not welcoming. Room was spacious, but just average. Boothbay harbor is amazing. One of favorite places we visited. Just didn't match the hotel night. But we felt safe their if that means anything to you.

Little underwhelming for the room, or I am just not used to properties in the area. Wasn’t dirty or anything but just like kind of old and outdated. Walking to the center was nice and the restaurants were great. Easy access to the boat tours and such. I would say it was OK, but not great.

We have stayed here many times over the years & always liked it enough to stay again. However this time we feel like we were put in a lower than expected room. The stairs coming up to the second floor. Were iffy no lighting & old.
The door had been broken into & the screen door had been replaced with a cheap one.
The bathroom was clean but had a pipe running across the ceiling.
In the past the rooms were much nicer.
The location has always been nice I think they must have better rooms.

Property is beautiful, Sits right on the water. It’s relaxing to sit out front with some drinks and watch the boats come in and out! Staff is friendly and accommodating. It would be better if the hotel provided a continental breakfast.

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the view of the harbor was great and we were able to walk to dinner and breakfast. The beds were average comfort and all was very clean.

I had asked for a handicap accessible room which we did not receive,there was only one designated parking for handicap,there was no free breakfast like their website says,the room was crowded,with furniture so my husband being in a wheelchair made it difficult for him to get around,I had to help onto and off the toilet as it was low to the floor and there were no grab bars.He has one leg and no prosthetic as he is unable to be fitted for one.The 1148.00 Was way to much for what we received and the refrigerator didn't keep anything cold.Putting a shower chair into the bathtub doesn't make the room handicap asseccible

Very disappointed. The condition of the room was not good! Our room which eas advertised as harbor view only had a partial view, and it directly faced a kitchen of the neighboring hotel kitchen fan. Our screen door was completely broken, and the bathtub drsin was broken. Thr price absolutely did not reflect what we experienced.

Ideal primo location. Spend some money on the landscaping and interiors. It wouldn’t take much as there isn’t much landscaping except what surrounds the buildings. The carpet was really new and nice in the room but the furniture was from an outdated hotel that they probably bought at a fire sale.

Beautiful property on the harbor. The rooms are older but well maintained and very clean. The staff was wonderful as well. Would definitely recommend.

Older property that could use a little updating but you can’t beat the location right on the harbor at the footbridge and walkable to many shops and restaurants with wonderful harbor views. Parking was easy and our brief interaction with the staff was helpful.

The property looks like the owners are tired - generally clean (except ants) but in need of some repairs...so it didn't actually feel clean. For example, our room was missing one of the two curtains and we had to hang a blanket every night to keep out the LED bulb right outside our door. Also, not all bayfront rooms are actually on the bayfront - some are set quite a bit back from the bay...so be aware. Probably overpriced but everything in Boothbay is that way so they're not out of line.

Great two night stay in Boothbay harbor. This place is just steps from the footbridge and close to many great restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Cute wooden swing out by the water to sit and relax.

The hotel, location is the best part and the room had a view of the bay. You can park in the hotel parking, and walk to Bothbay Harbor acrodd the pedestrian bridge in a few minutes. The hotel premises, need updating, painting, maintenance, ETC. We do not have any complains, however, for a weekend getaway is a good place to stay...

We had a very pleasant stay. Found great places for our meals.
Only disappointment was no elevators to second floor. We are seniors and it was extremely difficult to get our belongings in and out of our rooms.

Check in was easy.The room was very clean, as well as the linens; no elevator but staff offered to carry our bags to the 2nd floor. The outside area, bacony, needs powerwashing; however we had nice clean deck chairs and the view was outstanding. Watching the boats and harbor activities was relaxing and enjoyable. I do feel that a nice simple fresh continental breakfast should be included with the price we paid. Although there were good breakfast restaurants nearby, we it was fine. We would come back.

This is our 4th trip to the Boothbay Harbor Inn. We always enjoy our stay, the location is an easy walk to all of the local shops and restaurants, and is a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

Many prior visits to Booth Bay. Stayed here over the years. Problem is this hotel is long overdue for an upgrade. Room furniture hasn't changed since the the 70's! Love the location, the harbor, the footbridge but please spend some money on upgrading the place!

we loved booth bay harbor but the hotel itself was a little disappointing for the price, compared to the numerous other hotels and motels we stayed at during our road trip up and down the coast of Maine. While there are many restaurants and food choices just a couple of minutes walk away, the hotel itself does not have food, just a bar.

I was there about 8 - 10 years ago, being there this time, the property has changed a lot. There was no daily room service of clean towels, cleaning out the waste cans, or making the beds. There also was no longer any breakfast service and there was no person on desk duty during the evening and night. These lower service changes and yet the price went way up. It was a little disappointing.

My friends and I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the newly updated bathroom and the powerful AC unit that kept us very comfortable during the heatwave Boothbay was experiencing. The balcony and the views of the harbor were a wonderful way to start and end our day and the Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator in the room were the perfect touches to make us feel right at home. The furnishings may be a little dated but they serve the purpose and the hotel is very quiet..we slept soundly at night. A lovely stay!

The hotel has old fashioned keys and no restaurant. It's right near the walking bridge to town and so it was very convenient to go out. I watched the boat parade from my porch. Location is great, the hotel could use an update, but was comfortable enough.
