Our room was advertised as Partial Sea View but it was very hard to actually see the sea. I hate dishonesty in descriptions. I have uploaded the photo and the water you can see (just) is the pool.
Everything else about the room is fine, except that my wife found that the bed is hard. There is a good housekeeping turn-down and lots of good teas in the room but unfortunately, only instant coffee.

First family trip with 6 month old baby, was greeted warmly and with great professionalism. Food was amazing and clean, had no gastro issues. The staff from groundskeepers to kitchen chefs loves children and often we see them taking our daughter away for a loving hug. It is true what they say about Fiji, it is your home away from home.
Thank you Livai at lobby for greeting us and keeping us entertained, hope to see you and your team again shortly.

This has been our regular destination for past few years, unfortunately during this visit, the pool slides were closed for the exact duration of our stay so the kids missed out on that, and there was a wedding group the same time so we couldn’t get any bookings at the hair and beauty salon due to wedding group having booked it for the Sat we were there and the salon was closed on Sunday. Bad timing.
The resort itself is wonderful, clean rooms, spacious, great service, staff are awesome, Bazaar restaurant is amazing, they even made my daughter’s birthday super special by singing her Happy Birthday in both Fijian and English, and they were better than many professional bands!!!

Honestly, this was one of the most well-presented resorts we have ever had the pleasure of staying in! Our room was immaculate and all facilities were well-kept, maintained and presented - well done to the entire team!!!

Sofitel was a beautiful stay. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They were personal and even remembered your name. The rooms were clean and luxuarious and we enjoyed the rum bar, and Kai Wai water sports. We had dinner at Solis restaurant where the service was great, the food was amazing and we even had a free upgrade to on the beach dining.
Definitely a 10/10 stay, and wished we stayed for longer.

Great hotel with fantastic staff and very good food. Only downsides are the slow internet and average beach. Only hotel in the area having a night club.

There was construction on the property, which was the only negative for the property. But it wasn’t overly loud, even with the construction ongoing.
What I was most impressed with was the fact that I was allowed to return to the hotel four days after I had checked out. They stored my luggage and let me use their public WiFi while I waited for my evening flight home. I was so appreciative for that courtesy and because of that I more inclined to stay with Sofitel on other trips in other locations.

Expensive, but quality hotel. Staff are super professional and helpful. Easy distance to local shops and cafes as well as the airport. Great pool and rooms were lovely.

Very poor customer service and not very welcoming. Our young daughter had vomited all over herself in the taxi on our way to the resort, and on arrival I asked for an early check in so that we could get her cleaned up. We then had to wait for over an hour and a half in the lobby in smelly swimwear with vomit on it (even though the duty manager told us our room would be ready in 10-15mins) without once being offered directions to a wash room etc. This was extremely embarrassing and showed no compassion.
I also asked at the lobby about flight check in and airport transfer times. The next morning the airline laughed at me when I said what time our transfer was and said I needed to change it otherwise we would miss our flight which caused last minute and unnecessary stress at 4:30am.
The beds were uncomfortable and creaky.
Overall, a very disappointing end to our trip to Fiji, and it's fair to say we won't be coming back to the Sofitel.

The staff are simply outstanding, they do everything they can to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Rooms are clean and the property offers great amenities. Highly recommend!

We spent 10 days at Sofitel and we all had an amazing time as a family. Absolutely five stars! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in Fiji.

The resort and rooms were in good shape. We came as a couple - no kids, and stayed in the adult section of the hotel but could not use the adult pool area. Had to pay an additional $199 per person if we wanted to use the adult pool which included all you could drink - I think - wasn't real clear. Seems like couples should be able use adult pool without 'all you can drink' and having to pay additional on top of the already expensive hotel.

An amazing stay at the Waitui plus beach club access room. Large room, very comfortable bed, great en-suite. The staff at the resort are wonderful and attentive. The inclusions are fantastic, drinks, canapés, high tea, happy hours, minibar and laundry. Huge bonus having a Fiji Airways counter at the hotel to check in baggage before heading to the airport

The Waitui Beach Club is excellent. The staff have the perfect combination of being relaxed but still professional.

We stayed in waitui beach access club room was the best decisons everything was outstanding the service the pool the food. The hote is very well kept the main pool is huge too great for families. Highly recommend this hotel as it caters for young families and young couplies

There were so many ants in the room, room is kind of small with a small balcony. Adults pool has limited access for certain members, beach is a bit dirty.
