Absolute wonderful. The hotel is beautifully renovated, and the room was fantastic. The only thing I would improve is to have a few more lamps, rather than having to use the main light in the room which took away from the ambience.

Amazing experience! The hotel is unique and the staff is incredible. We also had a few great experiences at the Lobby Bar. The woman manager (I don't remember her name) at the bar was fantastic and very accommodating. All around 10/10.

Great staff and service. Stunning hotel, with a great story. Gym area and lobby - both in different ways - are very impressive.

What a wonderful stay! Rooms were soundproof. We were so rested. Enjoyed the comfort of the room and dining service. Very clean, new, friendly staff. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Overall great stay and great location!

We loved the architectural and design features, especially the lighting in the rooms and throughout the hotel, the lobby seating area with the fireplace, and the brass fixtures and marble in the bathroom and throughout the whole hotel. The lobby bar and restaurant were also lovely; it felt like being transported to Paris!

We came here for our baby moon and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel itself is gorgeous and picturesque, they have wonderful dining in and around the hotel. The staff were all kind, welcoming, and efficient. It’s a historic location so it’s just fascinating to learn about the history there as well. The room was beautiful and clean - we had the balcony and tub, and it was really lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! We are native New Yorkers who were just looking for an overnight getaway before the baby comes, and this did not disappoint!

I brought my mom for a short stay to catch a show and wanted the iconic Chelsea to be a part of the experience. It actually made the experience- beautiful in every way down to the shimmering stained glass light through the lovely window treatments. The place is a treat for all the senses especially if you’re a music, art, or literature nerd. You just feel the cool vibes in this place. Loved it!

This is the most unique, interesting Hotel I've stayed in my 70 years. I look forward to my future visits to NYC and staying in the beautiful comfort of the Chelsea.

The location is absolutely stunning, the welcome is warm and the house cat is gorgeous - and Queen of this particular castle. The hotel is beautiful but also quirky. Our room, the Emperor room was nicely decorated in dark green with a big antique cupboard. There’s a lovely view, only very slightly obscured by the conservatory. It has tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s worth noting: our room was not en-suite. The bathroom which is clean and tidy - but has an off putting dark brown/black bathroom suite - was opposite the bedroom. The separate bathroom ok but … the bathroom for a neighbouring room also seemed to be opposite our bedroom door. It’s an old house so the original floorboards and doors make a lot of noise. It did disturb our sleep. We would stay here again, but not bank on getting too much sleep! Breakfast service starts at 0830, so we missed it as we had to leave at 0800. The coastal walk is wonderful as are the kitchen and dining rooms.

We wish it was closer to the Chelsea Market and the Hi Line

Fantastic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing room / facilities (Lobby bar is a highlight) and well positioned near a few subway stations so getting around is a breeze. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!

Loved the hotel, staff and vibe. The food is not good sadly. I think we ordered everything and everything was meh.

Simply the best hotel we have ever stayed in, and we’ve travelled to many across the world! We’ll never stay elsewhere in NYC again. Exquisite property, refurbished to perfection whilst retaining gorgeous period features. It’s got all of the amenities you could need, the bed was exceptionally comfortable with high quality linens, and the TV, bathroom fixtures etc were all top notch. Right beside the subway uptown/downtown which made it a perfect spot to explore the city, and a short walk to many fantastic restaurants and bars in west village.

Hotel Chelsea gave me a slice of New York I wanted to experience. Living history albeit with modern conveniences thanks to the refurbishment of the hotel was superb. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff. Facilities perfect for me via a top bar, cafe and spa and of course a room with a balcony overlooking the street life.

This is our go to hotel when we visit NYC. It is an awesome old time hotel with all the current amenities.

Such a cool, historic hotel. Stayed here with my 13 year old daughter. Front desk was great and room service breakfast yummy. Big room for New York (or it just felt big). AC works great, every area was super clean. Artwork was so cool. Will definitely stay here again. My daughter said it was super hip so win there too.
