This particular visit was to attend a funeral and I wanted a place where I knew I would be comfortable and provided consistent service. I chose the Westin for that reason and was not disappointed. My room was clean and the rainfall shower was very relaxing at a time when I really needed it. The restaurant was in the process of renovations (should be reopened by later in Sept. 2024 if on track), but even the upstairs breakfast buffet in its place was very good with a wide variety of hot, fresh food. I only wished it was offered later on the weekend! The valet service took good care of my car and despite the ticket saying it required up to 20 minutes, it never took more than 5. By the time I texted for my car and made my way down the elevator to the front, my car had arrived. I appreciated another great stay at this location and will be back.

No body wash at check-in, after house cleaning cleaned room not all things were replenished, mo free parking, parking valet said only valet parking was available, but we could have parked in the garage for a fee.

It was close to King Street (Old Town Alexandria).
But the A/C was making a weird sound that they did not fix after I spoke to them.

i really enjoyed my stay. the property is beautiful and the area is really nice. we walked to dinner several night and were able to walk and get coffee in the mornings

valet parking is costly at $40/day but have option to park at nearby garage for $10.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. But all 4 elevators smell like feces, the stairwell smells like skunk, and one front desk person gave me a seriously bad attitude over nothing.

Everything was great, staff wonderful, valet great. Only negative was after spending tiring day sight seeing we were looking forward to eating and relaxing at hotel. When entering the restaurant we were told it was closed to public for event. Felt like paying guests at hotel should have been taken care of first.

The hotel does not provide any parking, other than overpriced valet. The restaurant in the hotel is similarly overpriced and does not offer complimentary breakfast for an already expensive stay. Do not recommend if you want to save some money.

Shuttle to take us to Olde Town, close to so many things, 10 minute walk to Metro station. Heavenly beds and bedding is the best. Friendly staff.

We have stayed at the Westin many times over the years; we like that it's in Old Town but away from the main area so much quieter. Very nice hotel.

Westin at Old town has a great surrounding area, 10 minutes from DC, efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms. I have a few minor complaints. The elevator room card readers were in disrepair, my room was a deluxe but it wasn’t really as large as I expected, spiders on my room ceiling and walls. No microwave in my room and a very tiny fridge. Other than that, it was an excellent experience.

The bathroom door wasn't easy to open it close. King room but they only have one bathroom rob. We had to ask for a second. The chaise was stained in several locations. We ordered room service for breakfast and you would expect 4 star hotel you bring a tray with silverware but it was literally in take out containers with plastic Cuttery.
